The she crab soup is amazing. It has a pub atmosphere and was a lot of fun. Prices are reasonable and all of the food was great! We saw Keegans on the food channel and we definitly had a great experience.
You can spend an entire day at Stone Mountain Park and not spend a dime! My wife and I walked from Stone Mountain Village where we were staying and entered from the west entrance. There is no fee for foot traffic into the park. The hike to the top is a must! We enjoyed the glass blowing in the Village and the carving was spectacular.
Stay at the Village Inn B @ B in Stone Mountain Village, it has a great view of Stone Mountain. It may be a bit haunted as well!
This house has a great story! It is very comfortable and the breakfast is unbelievable! My wife and I stayed in the Blue Room but had the entire house to ourselves for two nights. The house was built in 1820 and has all the creaks in the floor that you would expect from an old house. The fireplaces are great and set a romantic evening. Everything is within walking distance that you could ever need, 4 star dining, pizza, bar and Stone Mountain Park. I am a interested in civil war history and this house and location fit the bill. It is currently for sale and I would recommend getting there soon before Ms. Ashley sells the home. Nobody else I know can make a breakfast like hers!
