Dr. Schlundt is an amazing pediatrician. He has seen my son through the NICU, colic, extremely early teething, and then a devastating diagnosis of a rare blood disorder. I don't know what we would do without him. I'll be honest, he is not the right doctor for everyone. If you are the kind of parent that is skeptical of western medicine or proven scientific facts, then he is not the doctor for you. If you want a doctor to pat you on the head and tell you you're making the right decision when you are not, then he is not the doctor for you. However, if you want a doctor who sells it straight and discusses medicine at a scientific level, then he is just right for you! If you want to be involved with your child's care and you want to know the ??why? behind what is happening, he is the doctor for you. Dr. Schlundt will always answer you with proven medical research and study, and then give his opinion. It is up to you to educate yourself so that you can actively participate in your child's care, something easily obtained from a quick glance at WebMD. I have not once ever found him to be combative or obstinate.
Dr. Schlundt has on all occasions immediately returned my phone calls personally. He consults frequently with my son's specialists so as to keep abreast of the situation. He is also incredibly kind and gentle with my infant son. His intelligence and knowledge combined with his 20 plus years of experience and being a father himself is the perfect make-up for a pediatrician.
Dr. Park is my hero. I had a very high-risk pregnancy, and with Dr. Park's help was able to carry my son to 36 weeks, despite hospitalization for preeclampsia. I am also a type 1 diabetic, and with her encouragement and advice I was able to tightly control my blood sugars before and during the pregnancy, resulting in a perfectly healthy baby.
Towards the end of the pregnancy I was seeing her 3-4 times a week for monitoring. Throughout the pregnancy there were several times where I felt hopeless and frustrated, but she was right there next to me cheering me on. After the delivery she told me that she was proud of how hard I worked with my blood sugars to have a healthy baby. That meant the world to me.
At 33 weeks I developed high blood pressure and was hospitalized. She visited me everyday, and also everyday for the four days that I was in the hospital after my c-section.
Dr. Park is not only a highly skilled doctor, but she is also a genuinely kind and wonderful person. She did a great job with my c-section (she uses sutures instead of staples, which really cut down on the pain and scarring). She is a mother herself and has been through all of this, so she really knows what you're going through.
Dr. Park is one-in-a-million.
I have been a type 1 diabetic for nearly 20 years, and Dr. Feng is by far the best endocrinologist that I have ever worked with. Her office staff is also amazing! I was on vacation once when I ran out of supplies, and her office staff called in my prescriptions within seconds of my call!
Dr. Feng is both friendly yet firm, which I really appreciate. She also works with me and listens to what I have to say, something many doctors will not do. She has helped me gain excellent control of my diabetes.
I highly recommend Dr. Feng!
