Square Market has a hot spot on Rockwall town square. The large sandwiches were good but seem to lack the creativeness the billboard menu suggests. Homemade goodies to take home and finish a meal with a bottle of their wine looks like a fast dinner.
Even though Stephan Pyle's goes with the Spanish and Peruvian flavors his delicious rib eye is the best on the menu. The presentation of the courses is what I enjoy. You can learn a few of his tricks at his cooking classes.
After a gallery opening my husband thought it would be nice to RUN in and try Adelmo's...2.5 hours later we were done. It was the nicest most relaxed dinner I have ever had. The food was excellent. The ambiance superb. The waiter was great! I wish I had met the chef. The dinner warranted a stroll down Knox.
Has anyone ever heard of blackberry grits!
Another Broken Egg has various entrees of eggs and salads. What made our visit was the energetic and professional waiter. Paula Dean needs him!
The Trolley Stop is the place to start with a leisurely breakfast before touring the Garden District in New Orleans. The made to order breakfasts are wonderful . You have to fit the Homemade bread pudding into your schedule though.
We forget about the Iron Cactus but it is a good place to stop into when you go to a show at the Magnolia. The prices , drinks and atmosphere are great.
Hurricane Grill located on lower Greenville has a mixed crowd of younger and older patrons. The appetizers and drinks are great additives for the game watching parties.
The best part of Break Shot is being near Venice Beach. It had good salads for a sports bar and of course awesome drinks.Good little hideaway to catch the games.
Go to Hubbard's Cubbard to catch up on the local happenings. The never ending daily specials are a real value. The chicken fried steak is wonderful and the cornbread and rolls make the meal.
Christmas... had 3 turkey dinners... wondering what to do for a change... Go to Medieval Times. It was a surprise to have the tickets. What a way to spend a usually traditionally "What do I do now day?"
