I couldn't believe it - THEY LOST 2 dogs!!! The woman was crying, and the worker didn't even say sorry. The worker that afternoon just made her go to the side & continued to ignore her! After witnessing THAT - I asked to see my dog before I paid them. I noticed that they didn't do all the services, so I asked that they credit or do the services. The worker refused. I offered to pay for ONLY the services they DID do. I said I'd never go in there again, ESPECIALLY after seeing the way they treated the other owner. The next morning, the owner, Rodney called many times and filled my voice-mail box with false accusations. I phoned back and told him the truth (which apparently his worker did not). Either way, Pet Affair = VERY unprofessional.
In the end, I found a cheaper place that DOES NOT LOSE their dogs a few miles down.
My experience was nothing like these other reviews. HORRIBLE, RUDE! I just got off the phone with Max's, trying to get information and perhaps trying on a new groomer. Over the phone, she said she didn't want to give out any information because other grooming shops were calling them, "Sketchy" was the word she used. "Goodness, I'm just trying to find out about your shop because I've never been." She'd cursed with things going on in the background while she was talking to me, not to mention she continued to be quite rude & short with me on the phone. I haven't even gone, but already I'd recommend going elsewhere.
