Based on reviews from another site, we tried this restaurant. It is not much to look at from the outside (think strip mall pizza place), but it was beautiful on the inside. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job serving us even though she also had a large party. As others have mentioned the chicken is absolutely worth it. We ate homestyle and order a full chicken to share, salads, the salted corn, and several other dishes/sides. While the rest of the food was good, I would go back just for the chicken. Limited beverage choices.
Back in 2009 I wrote a (very deserved) bad review for this restaurant. But after hearing from several friends that the food has changed, we went back. And we are so glad that we did! They must have gotten a new chef, because now the food is very good. Especially the specials. We went back several more times to see if we got the same quality each time, and we absolutely did. This is now one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the area. The pork specials are mouth watering. The basic Italian fare is decent. The only freshly made pasta is the cavatelli, and it is delicious. We also very much enjoy the eggplant rotini starter and the calamari is very tender. My only complaint is that they have cut back their hours/days and are only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for dinner.
We used Tracy to find a house when we moved from NJ to NC. She was amazing. We had worked with several other realtors over several months and none of them were able to get us exactly what we wanted. Tracy helped us negotiate a great deal on our dream home. I'm a bit (okay a lot) high strung and Tracy was always there when I needed her to answer questions, deal with the builder, help set up utilities and get paperwork I needed...everything. She is efficient and organized, so we never wasted time driving across town to look at one house and then back for another, and then back across town... She set everything up so that each time we looked we saw the maximum number of homes in the time available.
And she was priceless through the process of submitting the contract, finishing the build, and closing. She made a stressful 500 mile move painless and handled every single bump in the road with ease. I highly recommend using Tracy if you are looking for a realtor that will find you the perfect home, be your advocate, always have your best interests at heart, be available when you need her, and is knowledgeable about the area and market. Thanks Tracy!!
We love the Ceramic Barn! My daughter and I go all the time to paint pottery. You can't beat the prices, and they are so nice. Also, she'll make personalized pieces for you. Check out the amazing pumpkins at Halloween!
We went to the Cooperative to find plants to landscape around our house. They are nothing short of amazing. They really took to time to work with us. They had us bring in the measurements of each of the areas we wanted to work with, and digital pictures. They then helped us pick out flowers, trees and plants for each area. They set everything up for us exactly where it should be spaced in a big area in the parking lot, so that we could see what it would look like when we were done. We took pictures and when we got home all we had to do was follow what they had laid out. And the prices are out of this world. I can't believe how much we saved. I didn't think we could afford a Japanese Maple Tree... we got 3!! And every single plant has thrived. They told us exactly how to plant them and care for them. It was so easy!! I just wish we had done it sooner.
We went to Camp Inawendiwin when we were kids, and I can still remember their song and the great times we had camping there. As a teenager we snuck in to skinnydip and hang out with our friends. As an adult, I sent my kids to camp there. It's a great little camp in Tabernacle and everyone is so friendly.
They may not be the same as Philly, but they still have some of the best cheesesteaks you can get in the area. Their fries are good and the prices are great. There's not a ton of indoor seating, but you can usually find a table.
We got 2 new tires from Tri-County for each of our 2005 Hyundai Elantras. Total cost per pair was about $140. They did a great job in mounting the tires and were very fast. We believe that the price was reasonable and they were pleasant to deal with.
Local Home carries home decor, epicurean, home fragrance, bath & body, and table top items. They're great for items to decorate your home, with lots of tasteful pieces. They're also really good if you're looking for a housewarming gift.
Lovely You carries wigs, hats, scarves, skin care items, and accessories. We got a wig there and, beyond it being a lot of fun trying on the wigs and finding the right one, it is great quality for a reasonable price.
