The room was comfortable and modern. The room rate was decent. No kitchen privileges though. The breakfast was good with sufficient portions. The innkeepers were not accessible other then at breakfast time and were courteous, but not warm & fuzzy. You can buy kona coffee grown right on the farm. Be prepared to burn some gas on the steep ride up the hill to the house. The view is worth the drive.
A Mexican-American fare with huge portions at reasonable rates. Do not order an appetizer with dinner- you won't have room. This was one of the only places open past 6 PM in the middle of the week.
Set back, way off the highway, a interesting little b&b. The room was comfortable. We shared a living space and kitchenette with another couple which was OK because both of us went out in AM and came back late at night. The breakfast was filling with some of the fresh fruit grown in the yard. The inn keepers seemed a little uncomfortable with strangers, but were pleasant and made an effort to be welcoming. The price was great when compared to hotel costs.
A great trip. It was expensive but the best day we spent in Kauai. In motorized rafts we were taken to a breathtaking part of the world. The tour company provided snorkel equipment and lunch. Our guide, a school counselor during the school year, was very knowledgeable and personable.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a view of the courtyard and pool. The unit we stayed in was clean, easily accessible to the laundry room and parking lot. The beach was a short walk away. Location was remote enough yet easy to access highway and sights.
We rented 2 two-man kayaks and headed up the river with our two children. Able to go at our own pace we enjoyed the sights. We docked the kayaks and hiked to a waterfall for a picnic lunch. The day was inexpensive, relaxing and worth every penny.
The ice cream is delicious, especially on a hot Hawaiian day. The prices are high for the amount of ice cream though. They might want to make the area more appealing for customers to sit down and enjoy their cone.
It was fun to sit out on the deck and watch the people on the beach. The food was good. Prices average for HI. Staff was friendly and desert...Delicious.
Went on a Saturday night, thank goodness had a reservation. Meal was good though not great. Typical inland seafood restaurant. Prices a little high for the quality- in my opinion
Delicious deli style sandwiches with generous helping of meats. The quality is good. Prices are average. It's good to call ahead so you don't have to wait.
