I became a fan of Tabbs Creek Animal Hospital due to a business relationship, but came to love them for their passion to helping animals and their families. I now drive 2+ hours just to take my dog there. Dr. Thompson is amazing. She is sensitive to your pet's needs and gives you the options she would choose if it were her pet.
She also has a tremendous passion for helping the community. The entire staff are just simply good-hearted people. I would recommend Tabbs Creek Animal Hospital to anyone!
I don't actually have insurance through this agency, but I had to write about how kind they were to me when I recently moved to the area. I was desperately trying to find somewhere that I could use a fax machine. The Post Office recommended their office. I went in and they not only faxed my papers for me, but gave me great information about the town. They provided me with names of other businesses that could help me in different areas. They also connected me to a realtor, hair stylist, and restaurant.
I can't say enough about their amazing hospitality for a newcomer to Four Oaks!
My son has special needs and does extremely well at this dentist's practice. My only complaint would be that the waiting room is very small and can get crowded fast. But, we've never had to wait very long. The entire practice is painted with trees, animals, and bright colors suitable for kids. They are very creative in the way they explain things to the children.
They also have a practice in Wake Forest and the dentists there are phenomenal.
This gym is pretty basic, but very affordable and convenient. They have the typical equipment (ellipticals, treadmills, free weights, etc). There are no extras such as classes, saunas or other additional perks, but I love that you are given a code to unlock the door so you can work out at your convenience. They sell supplements and other nutritional items.
The rates are extremely affordable (as low as $25 per month), so overall this is a really good deal.
My husband is a huge fan of this small practice. Any appointment he's had has gone very smoothly. He had one slight billing issue (which was his insurance company's mistake) and the staff went above and beyond to get it corrected even though it wasn't their fault. There's never a long wait, and the doctor is thorough.
This store isn't huge, but it's got a pretty good selection. My husband loves to browse through the sports books while I'm next door at one of the outlet stores. They have a decent kid's section and sell many accessory items such as bookmarks, cards, and music.
My favorite feature of this restaurant is the lighting. They have the most amazing light fixtures! Their cheese dip is scrumptious and I've never had bad service!
I've eaten lunch here and used them for catering a company picnic. I've been completely satisfied each time. The owners seem like really good people who give back to the community.
We had a horrible experience here. Our son has autism and has a very difficult time with small, crowded rooms. When I called to make the appointment, I expressed this concern and asked to come in during the slowest time. They said they completely understood and scheduled us for the morning. When we got there it was empty, but after waiting 45 minutes, the small waiting room was packed. There were no seats left and many parents were sitting on the floor. My son started having a really hard time dealing with the noise, so I went to the receptionist and asked if there was a different waiting room or a quieter place that we could wait. She went to the back, came back, and said that there wasn't anything she could do. She suggested we could go wait in our car!! When I mentioned that we had expressed this concern when we made the appointment and were assured that it wouldn't be a problem, she said that we just had to wait our turn. I'm pretty sure this message was coming from the office manager and the receptionist was just the messenger. Regardless, we felt like our son wasn't going to get the care he needed there, so we left.
I've had friends say they adore the doctor here, but unfortunately, we never made it past the waiting room!
My son has autism and we've had a difficult time finding a doctor who understood his needs as well as the questions that our family has. Dr. Knudsen at Growing Child is the most wonderful pediatrician I've ever met (and we've seen many!). He's so compassionate and I love that he talks directly to our son, and not over his head. I would recommend this practice to any parent!
