I can remember when my parents took me to the local pharmacy to get medicine when I was sick. John was the pharmacist, I remember him because he remembered me. That is when you used to be treated like a person and not a number at a meat counter. Moye's prides themselves on that type of service.
This location actually has wheel chairs, crutches and other items that have slowly been removed from Pharmacies, and replaced with internal grocery stores. You can shop the store for family gifts and other items while your prescription is filled.
I highly recommend Moye's at any location, but this one is the flagship, in my opinion.
I don't know about you, but few things are better than cooking with fresh, vegetables. For years I have stopped on the side of the road with random folks selling produce out of the back of the pickup. It rarely seems welcoming, and feels more like a yard sale.
Well, Thompson market gives the opportunity for fresh produce with a friendly, welcoming storefront.
I walked in to the Corner Maker without any recommendations. I wanted to have a picture my son created as a present for my wife framed. The gentleman that ran the shop was very swift in helping me find options that suited my budget. He also made suggestions from his experience to make the presentation even better.
The picture came out beautiful. The picture has become a centerpiece in our home.
I cannot say enough good things about this school. I call it a school, instead of a daycare, because they actually strive to teach things to your kids at all ages.
My son went in when he was 2, and left when he graduated their State funded Pre-k. We made many long term friends with the families that attended, and the staff was always friendly. Like any organization some teachers came and went, but overall the quality of my son's education was unmatched.
My son just left 1st grade with 8 awards for education. He is at the top of his class, and I certainly think the Sunshine House and the teachers he had helped get him to that level.
First of all, sign up for the Tanger Club card. You get a free $5 coupon book, and the ability to use a free stroller each time you go. Most of the Coupons are $10 off when you purchase $100 or more, but some are useful when doing conservative purchasing.
Our Family loves the shoe outlets. Nike and Reebok are there. More often than not we go to Reebok, because they have either a Buy one, get one half off sale. Or Buy 2 get 1 free.
I love going in and out of each store, and finding the hidden deals.
Plenty of Parking if you have an RV, and even a few places to eat.
Nothing worse than having a beautiful day, and nothing to do. County Line Lake allows you to pack up your kids and take them fishing. They have everything you need. My son caught his first fish here. Definitely a must for summer.
This steakhouse is not a $7.99 that you see advertised everywhere. But they have some decent deals. We sign out the back room for a corporate event yearly, and always have an amazing time. There are some tables where you can overlook Fremont Street, and people watch while you eat. Amazingly good steaks in an old school vegas environment.
If you have ever been to a really nice restaurant, then stared unknowingly at the menu, then this place is for you. Why pick one thing, when you can get some of everything. They walk around with huge skewers of meat and will keep giving you different varieties and cuts of meat until you make the stop. You have a little card that is either Green for "Give me more" or Red for "Let me digest".
All of the food is amazing. Be careful not to fill up on the salad bar, which alone is worth the $50 price tag.
Fellini's pizza by the slice, and a Fellini's salad on the patio outside with a cold beer is the epitome of a perfect day.
There are several Fellini's restaurants, and all are about location. New York style pizza ready to be folded and consumed.
The Georgia Dome is covered, so any game or event you attend, it is temperature controlled and predictable. I have never had a bad seat to a football game, the layout is great. Throw in a big jumbo tron, and you are part of the action.
Parking is a bit of a pain, but take Marta, that is what public transportation is great for.
