Located where Cold Stone Creamery used to be, Gelato D'Amore Cafe offers a nice selection of gelatos in a town that is otherwise over-saturated with ice cream parlors. Unfortunately, the gelato prices are high enough to make you think twice. In addition to gelato, this place also offers sandwiches, wraps and salads at a much more reasonably price. In all, I'm very happy to add this cafe to the list of lunch spots my co-workers and I can frequent.
I love the Seafood Combination Chef's Special at Shogun 1. It's a very generously sized dish of lobster, shrimp, crab and scallops, served with rice, and best of all...delivered to your door! There's only an $8 minimum for delivery
Five Star is your old-fashioned style coffee shop, where you are served a cup of coffee with endless refills along with your breakfast or lunch. This place serves a solid tuna melt.
If you can manage to drop by during the limited hours that Lazy Bean is open, it's a great coffee house, with comfy chairs, free WiFi, and good eats. The desserts are decadent, and the panini I've had here absolutely delicious as well as generously sized.
I had the "misfortune" of working near Three Star Bagels for some time. I loved getting deli sandwiches made on their fresh bagels, their incredible, chocolate-y brownies, fresh brewed coffee, and delicious hot chocolate. I blame them for some of my weight gain.
I agree with the other reviewer...the pizza here is pricey. I don't find the taste of Pizza Cave all the different from what's on offer at the other pizzerias in downtown Teaneck. Since I don't keep kosher, I prefer to eat elsewhere and save some money.
Victor's Pizza is very conveniently located in downtown Teaneck, next to the CVS pharmacy and just a few blocks from the Cedar Lane Cinemas. I usually stop in prior to seeing a movie, so I don't fill up on popcorn and candy instead.
Aquarius is a great place for grabbing vegan, vegetarian, or macrobiotic foods that are ready to eat. It also carries a good selection of grocery items, from pre-packaged cereals to health teas to bulk grains to frozen foods.
If you time it just right, you can fit in a manicure and pedicure at Nail Garden and still make it back to your desk before your lunch hour is over. The service and quality is comparable to most other nail salons I've frequented, but the price is exceptional.
Rocklins is a handy convenience store, where you can grab a bottle of soda, a lottery ticket, small snack, or a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Usually you are in and out very fast.
