I can not believe that anyone in their right mind would give this place a good review. I think the store itself is writing the good ones. They let several puppies at a time run around on the floor, crap everywhere then run through it. They DO NOT clean up after the puppies. When I was there I saw poop with blood in it that not only the puppies where running through, but customers where stepping in. Do you know how many puppy dieases are transfer through poop. You could take parvo home to your own animals. This place is a disgrace. I cannot understand how they can be in business for so long. Is animal control on vacation or what. DO NOT support a place that obviously does not care about the comfort or well being of it's animals. I wonder who their vet is? If he is clearing the snotty nosed, coughing, blood in feces puppies i saw when i was there he should be put out of business also.
It would be nice if people new what they are talking about, rather than spewing untruths and lies. No one likes puppy mills and to assume without fact makes an ass out of you and me. Yes, 90%+ stores buy there animals from puppy mills, because they use the two largest brokers in the country to buy there puppies from. These brokers sell 86,000, yes 86,000 puppies a year, so if the mega brokers don't buy from puppy mills they wouldn't have enough puppies. Russos buys from small brokers who inspect each and every breeder before buying from them. How do I know, I am one of those small brokers. But guess what before that I worked at Russos for 20 years. They DO NOT buy from the mega brokers. I inspect every kennel to ensure there are NO puppy mill puppies. Has anyone who is posting these negative reviews ever heard of the California pet protection act? It says that Russos would have to pay up to 1 1/2 times what a consumers pays for their animal toward vet bills if the animal comes down with a hereditary or congenital issue. I don't think Russos would have been in business for the last 40 YEARS if they were giving out more money than they were taking in. Not everyone who sells puppies is evil, some of us really do go the extra mile to ensure we are NOT supporting puppy mills. That also means they pay more for their puppies, good reputable breeders and brokers are not cheap. If you are thinking of buying a puppy we encourage you to email us and get the truth. email@example.com, if you give us your number we will call you.
Anyone who is saying this is a great place is out of their minds. The puppies are all running around on the floor, running through feces that had blood in it. The ones that were not running around on the filthy floor where packed into pens. Some had crusty noses and appeared to to lethargic. One of the customers stepped in a pile of poop. You better spray your shoes with bleach if you have animals at home, who knows what you could bring into your home.I cannot believe this place has not been closed by animal control, they are not doing their job if this place stays open. DISGUSTING!!! I feel sorry for the animals. I don't know how anyone could work there.
