This is an ok adult store, but I don't expect to much from a small town store. I was looking for a gift for my boyfriend and had a difficult time making a selection because there wasn't much choice. The prices are a bit more than what you would find in the city, but then again, this isn't the city. There really is no other option in dekalb if you are looking for a gift that is a bit risque.
I love this place. Their clothing and shoe selection for children under 4 is great. Nice clothes and not over priced. I also bought maternity clothing there and again nice quality and not over priced. They have older children's clothing but the selection is much smaller but you can still find some good deals. They sell cribs, bedding, clothes, shoes, toys, books, movies, bottles and other baby accessories. The owner is always there when I have gone and she is very nice. I recommend this store to anyone who is shopping on a budget.
I have been in this resale shop a few time and have found some very nice items, but then sometimes I find nothing. I don't think this is any different than other resale shops though. The people who have worked there have been very nice. I will continue to go there when looking for items.
My 5 year old went to this facility for after school kindergarten care. I was happy with the staff and the facility. They were a bit pricey for me but it was the only option for after school care in the area. I would recommend as they are well staffed and my daughter seemed to enjoy herself there.
This is my favorite place for a special lunch or dinner. The have Cajun food and the food is good. The atmosphere is intimate but casual enough that you don't feel like you are out of place in jeans and a nice shirt. The menu has a variety of entrees and there are nights of the week where they have a theme night. I have never had a bad experience or bad food. They make homemade soup and desserts as well as entrees. If you are looking for a nice dinner this is the place to go.
I enjoyed most of my time at Briarwood. I thought the apartments were clean and fairly spacious. The complex is located away from the college community which is good and bad. If you don't have a car it is a bit far from the necessities, but bus 7 stops about a block away. There are alot of families there and I enjoyed having other kids around for my daughter. They became a bit pricey towards the end for me, but I do not know what the rent is currently. Overall satisfied with my experience.
This was the only place I could find in my budget that met the size I needed and allowed me to have my dog. There are numerous issues in the house including not being clean, mold in the bath room and exposed electrical outlet. The tenents before me smoked in the house and the walls are covered with smoke grime. I will stay until my lease runs out and then I will look for a new place that meets the budget. Will update when I move.
I love the concept of tails and I think that they do a great job with animals who have been homeless and relinquished by owners. I have adopted 2 pets from tails and the process was detailed but the staff was great. My daughter loves the cat rooms and that is where she picked out her cat Naldo. I found a great dog at tails, Buddy. Buddy was given to tails because of a bully breed ban placed on military bases. Buddy is a pitbull and tails treated him just like any other dog. Buddy is a sweet boy who just wanted a home and I think it is fabulous that tails took him in and adopted him out. I couldn't be happier with my pets. If you are looking for a pet go to tails first. Look at the dogs and cats who aren't puppies and kittens cause you many find a family member in an older animal.
This is a small vet clinic in Malta. I love the Vet my dogs and cat have seen. He spends time with my dogs (both pitbulls) and appreciates the breed. The are significanly cheaper than the Vets in Dekalb and work the 10 minute drive. I have never had a problem with the and while the building isn't as "new" as the Dekalb vets I feel this drs are great.
I did not have Dr. Baumgart as a dr, but am affiliated with two young woman who were under his care. I took this young women to their dr's appts and sat in the lobby so I am very aware of the attention or lack there of received from the dr. Neither of the woman saw personally saw Dr. Buamgart until 4 weeks left in the pregnancy (they saw his nurse) and this is concerning to me. As a woman who has delivered two babies, I believe the relationship you have with our ob is so important. These ladies had no relationship with him and this concerned me. He is one of the few dr's who take public aid and so the young ladies were limited to seeing him. This is unfortunate that the ladies did not get the best care possible because of their lack of choices due to income. I would not go to Dr. Baumgart for my ob needs so I can not recommend him to others.
