I went to Santino's for my birthday with my husband and was not impressed with anything from the moment we walked in.We were not greeted at all when we stepped in or when we were seated.
Our server was extremely quiet and made no suggestions or introduced herself. I really wanted to try the veal saltimbocca but they were out of that.So we had the bruschetta and the veal braciola. The bruschetta was loaded with way too much garlic, too much tomatoes and the bread was soft. The veal was overcooked and where is the freshly grated Parmesan cheese?? The bread that was served before the main course tasted like it came out of a microwave. The oil dipping sauce was good though.
This restaurant could make small changes that would make a big improvement. There were only two servers on who clearly looked flustered, the waitress was reaching over guests to serve others drinks, the place smelled musty, our table was wobbly, water was not good..the list could go on.
With the experience I had based on my visit I would not return or recommend anyone to eat at Santino's.
First impressions are everything!!
