I first went to Channel 1 to meet up with some people who frequent the place. Drinks were cheap and the atmosphere was interesting...enough to keep me coming back. The happy hour specials are greatly priced. The bartenders are friendly and quick with the drinks. I also went on a Sunday morning and had free breakfast with the purchase of one drink. My omelet was delicious, as was the hash brown and watermelon. I highly recommend Channel 1 for the cheap drinks and friendly service.
Awesome Flowers
I purchased a couple of arrangements from Awesome Flowers and they turned out to be exactly that...awesome. One of the arrangements was for my mom's birthday which was very colorful, as requested, and was much larger than what I paid for. I also ordered flowers for a sick co-worker and it definitely brightened up her day when she received them. The owners are friendly and talented at what they do. They will hook you up with more flowers than other on-line flower shops. I have already recommended them to many co-workers and friends. They provide business over the phone, on-line and in person. My best tip is to walk in and order, or to look at what they have on-line and call in the order.
