I am in a funk when it comes to putting colors together. Whitman Paint has a wonderful in house consultant, Barbara, who will work with you and your swatches/samples to find many choices of paint colors for you to ponder over. I was VERY pleased with the color that I finally used and would have never been able to figure it all out on my own. Call first since this service is only available during certain hours and days.
It's hard to find unique types of yarn these days, but Sage has quite a nice variety. There is a plentiful amount of patterns as well. One flaw is that you must buy a book (costly) to use a single pattern you might see as you flip through the pages. Some yarn shops will either xerox or have single copies available for you if you purchase enough yarn for the project.
I teach Kindergarten and find this store invaluable! Upon entering it appears small, but the variety of stock is incredible! The owner is extremely helpful and doesn't rush a sale. . . you can spend a lot of time browsing and a lot of money on necessities as well as the fun extras. No need to spend endless hours looking through catalogs or searching online, this store most likely will have what you're looking for.
Falmouth Center is a wonderful place to visit. Port Cargo is a woman's boutique with a great assortment of clothing and accessories. The owner, Richard, is wonderful at putting together complete outfits within any sort of budget. The music and ambiance of the shop is worth a visit.
I have known many children as well as young adults who have attended this school of performing arts and have had an outstanding experience. The performances are amazing! Students truly get a very professional exposure to acting, singing, dancing, and stage presence. The school exists within an aging building that leaves much to desire, but that's show biz!
Mr. Proffetty, his son, and their staff are wonderful workers. Very focused, helpful, and leave the site as clean as they found it. The trucks they have are always updated and shiny, the men are patient, cooperative, and talented.
I have used Irvings for everything from ladders to wallpaper over the past several years. Their inventory is always tops and their helpfulness is well appreciated. The business has been there for many many years. With Lowe's and Home Depot in every city and town these days, it is nice to see and shop in a local dependable hardware store.
My new Jetta is a few months old and I love it. The female salesperson that I had was impressively factual, friendly, with no pressures whatsoever. Unfortunately, when I brought the car in for its first oil change, etc., my impressiveness left me. I was clearly overcharged and it wasn't easy having them make the adjustment.
I recently compared prices for having glass inserts put into my kitchen cabinet doors. College Town was close to three times the amount for the same glass as many other similar glass shops. We are very happy that we didn't go with them since we were able to put that extra money somewhere else in the kitchen.
This shop is very nearby where I work so often I will call to order something for a co-worker or an upcoming event. They are very accommodating and reasonably priced. You know you are at the right place when there is an old iron bed on the front lawn of Hannant's which is often decorated as the "flower bed."
