Mexico Bakery
They serve the best tortas in town. Even though most prefer the milensa tortas, I just stick to carne asada. You'll also have to try the tre leches and pan dulce.
Cafe Adria
Great little cafe! Very comfortable and local feeling inside. The service was fast and the staff were really nice. I ordered a vanilla latte and they offered to use vanilla beans! Yum, it's even more delicious. I also recommend their Aztec drink. It's delicious and flavorful.
Tacos Al Carbon
They have really good Mexican food and they are open late. After going to the clubs, this was the place to come and eat afterwards. They sometimes even have Mariachi playing during dinner which is a plus!
Jalisco Restaurant
I really like coming to this place for the birria but there is a small problem. I never know when they are open, they seem to have strange hours. Usually they are open for lunch but dinner is a hit or miss.
Peanuts Deluxe Cafe
Great place for breakfast or lunch, it's one of the places that I could afford as a student but still get great food! The owner was great with the students and always gave us a break when we were counting our pennies : )
Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurant
I love the decorations of the restaurant, the colors are bright but warm. We've been pleased with everything, but my favorite is camarones al mojo de ajo.
Casa Vicky Catering & Cafe
I love coming to this place to pick up some homemade corn or flour tortillas. They are so good, especially when you time it as they are making them. The food is good and they are big portions.
Off The Hook
This is a nice bar because it doesn't get too crowded and they have a great jukebox. It seems to be going from owner to owner, but it has remained a good sports bar.
Mango Caribbean Cafe
They must of changed owners because we were big fans of the jerk joints but they just aren't the same. Although you can't go wrong with the smoothies, they are great! I'll go just for the smoothie....lunch or dinner with a smoothie is too much!
Paul & Eddie's Monta Vista Inn
Great place to get an AMF, they are delicious and strong. Only one will do it : ) Lots of nice people and the prices are reasonable. I know that's where my husband stops for a quick drink before golf!
