Maddios looks like the type of place that is focusing at high school groups to become a hang out. That and families. The pizza's are small and a bit over priced in my opinion. The pizza was good for not being authentic italian, but still a bit over priced. It's not expensive, I just feel you don't get much.
I took a class at Dance 101 and know a lot of people that go or used to go there. The classes seemed crowded. I've also heard a lot about them raising rates and after signing packages that the packages "expire" after a certain date, or have "limits" on the number of classes for the likes of a year or 3-month pass. That's not cool.
I have taken classes here and really enjoy it. The instructors are friendly and don't push you into other classes. Other places we have been to, they take us through an evaluation and try to get us to buy into their packages and whatnot. Seems more about the business than trying to teach you. That is not the case here. And when we go, with the exception of once when they had a group class, the place was pretty open (not crowded), which is great when trying to learn.
I am not the type of person that goes to bars. But I have been to the Red Light Cafe twice for a co-worker's brother's Bluegrass band has played. This is the type of place I enjoy going to. Good, real, live Music. The draft beer is limited and so are the menu options. But I've loved everything I have had there and definitely recommend the place, especially if you like bluegrass.
I lived at Wildwood Ridge for 1 year and I loved it. I had a really nice apartment for an above average price. But living across the street from the office, that makes up for it with gas prices. The only thing I did not enjoy about this place was that my apt was right above the pool and a few nights during the summer people would stay at the pool and be loud.
I also was not in the "gated" part of the community, but had to go through the "gate" to get my mail. That was odd, but never worried about break-ins. If I had to guesstimate, there were maybe 1 or 2 break-ins during the entire year. Compared to where I live now (Overlook at Lindbergh in Buckead), that is great (we get notices almost weekly).
I would definitely recommend this place. If it wasn't for my fiance wanting to live more in the city, we would've stayed. She now regrets it and we would live there again if we weren't looking for a house.
This place has a little more flare than a place like Artuzzi's and they have more to offer. Being an order and they bring the food out to you type of Italian place brings the quality down pretty quickly. But I enjoy the place. I have gotten sandwiches and pizza here. Both are worth a try.
I have eaten at the Wildwood Cafe often as my office is located here. I eat there when I feel like I have to or there is no other immediate option. I feel the food is overpriced for small sandwiches. I do enjoy free cookie day though. I love the Chicken Philly, but it just seems too small. I feel like I get a better deal with their fish sandwich. They also recently raised prices after reopening with their remodeled cafe.
Tin Drum has good food at a decent price. I have ate there more recently after going on a Tin Drum "food crave." I like their sesame chicken and the service is pretty good. It is an order and they bring the food out to you - I like that. Living near by is probably why I have been on a recent craving.
We recently got some pizza after Ultimate at Grant Central. It was good for the most part, but not as good as a lot of NY style pizza found in the Atlanta area. The cheese was coming right off - maybe it was too hot. But I don't like. I love me some cheese, but I want it to stay on my slice.
We had a large group go to Wing Factory for a big Bowl Game back in January. It was fun watching the team we wanted to win actually win. The service was good for it being such a large crowd. I think they got my wings wrong the first time, so they brought me more wings later. My sandwich was ok. I should've gotten fries though. We did have to wait as we had a large group, but that should be expected.
