The Turf Supper Club is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego! Although, I here that the ownership has changed....so hopefully the dining/bar experience itself does not change!
It is a small little dive piano bar at the edge of downtown. The food is so delicious and I just love the fact that you cook your own food! The cons about this place include, bad parking and they don't except reservations. It gets really crowded, so go early if you can.
Dr. Leung performed performed the wavefront lasiq surgery on my eyes over 5 years ago. I had been seeing Dr. Leung's office for regular eye check ups for several years and finally got the nerves to asked about the lasiq surgery. I was extremely hesitant in having this performed, however heard great things about Dr. Leung and his staff. They were not pushy at all and they told me everything upfront. I went back and forth and finally decided to do it. With their comforting & understanding approach to my nervousness I got through it and couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Now, 5 years later my eyes are still just about perfect!!
Pure Platinum in Kearny Mesa absolutely has the strip club feel, but hey that's what it is. The club is however pretty clean, they play good music, the girls are really nice and the bartender who works on Saturday night is great! The drinks can get pretty expensive though.
If you are looking for a good insurance agent....look no further!! I have been using Avram Insurance for the past 8 years and I couldn't be happier with the services they provide. The staff are very professional and extremely informative. I would absolutely recommend them!!
The Carriage House is a great little dive, located on Balboa Avenue in Clairemont. It is pretty small and can get crowded on Karaoke nights, but is reasonably priced and the service is great!
If you are looking for a great dive bar....look no further! Victor's has several pool tables with plenty of room surrounding them, lots of places to sit, several tv's, and the drink prices are great! I would definatly recommend Victor's for a casual evening out. Heads up....parking can be a pain during the early/mid evening.
Players Sports Bar is a great place to watch the game or to enjoy happy hour with some friends. It is a really good size, that includes a dining area, pub seating, a patio with TV's (occasionally), lots of TV's inside, several pool tables, lots of beers on tap, good food, and more! It gets pretty busy during the big games, so you have to go early to get good seats.
I have been taking my Tahoe to Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet's Service Department for about seven years now. The quality of work and service is great and they even wash your vehicle after every service!! I would definatly recommend them to family and friends.
I really like Pizza Nova! My favorite is their spaghetti with meat sauce and a meatball on the side. The service and quality of food is great and the prices are reasonable.
I went to the side bar for the first time this weekend. The decor and the staff are really nice, but it is a bit small. They mainly play techno music, which is great if you like techno. All of the sitting area's are for reserved bottle service, so if you don't have bottle service you are standing the entire time. I had a good time, but I would not go back to spend another entire night out at. I would however, consider stopping in for a drink or two before it gets too crowded.
