Bec's Bar & Bistro
Feels like a real Irish Pub. Has great character and I just love the cobblestone floors. I went to a party their and they had a "room" just for our table. So much fun. Definitely recommend.
Bella Pizza & Pasta
Bella's pizza is good and I thought a pretty good price -- but I think we had a coupon from the Penny Saver. A little too salty for my taste, but my family enjoys it.
Haircut Headquarters
When I've just needed a quick cut I have gone to Haircut Headquarters a few times. They did a good job and the cost can't be beat. The staff is very friendly.
Seahaven Rentals
We used Seahaven rentals when renting 2 large homes in Lincoln City. The houses were fantastic. Seahaven staff was professional and very helpful. Their website is easy to navigate and overall I had a good experience.
Sushi To Dai For
I have only been here once and the sushi was delicious. It was fresh and they had a great variety. My mom has been there many times and takes friends and family because she likes it so much.
So Big Co-Op Preschool
I went to an open house at So Big and was really impressed. It is located on the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds. The preschool room and some fantastic artwork and was decorated so nicely. I know a lot of families who just LOVE So Big. It wasn't it the right place for us, but I was impressed with what I saw.
Coffee & Gelato
Coffee and Gelato is a new place in Oakley. The gelato was very good, but the prices were quite high. They also have pastries and coffee. It was very clean and very quiet. We were the only ones there the whole time. I prefer Taste Tea Gelato in Brentwood.

I went to Dr. Davenport when I was having difficulty getting pregnant. She was very reassuring -- changed my diet and assured me that I should be able to get pregnant. I did very soon after starting to go see her. However, she's a bit wacky -- doesn't seem to read the chart well and doesn't remember things from one visit to another. Also, an average wait time of about 45 minutes after appointment time -- sometimes longer. And it wasn't always because she was delivering a baby. Sometimes I was the first patient in the morning and she was just late getting in.
The Arlington
A little local coffee/deli shop in Kensington. They seem to have a large wine selection as well. I had an iced mocha and it was fine. I went in this afternoon with my girlfriends just before they closed and they told us not to worry -- just to relax and they'd clean around us. It was nice of them to let us feel comfortable staying.
Arlington Pharmacy
Much more than just a pharmacy. They have cards, post office and gifts too. They have some great gifts -- art from local people: jewelry, ceramics, book marks -- lots of interesting stuff.
