Unpleasant and horrible in every way! Dirty place. Sloppy food bar. Arguing staff. Uneatable food. Kids would not even eat the pizza.
Beautiful landscaping is the first appeal, surprising decorator styling in the interiors is the second. An excellent Savannah motel / hotel / inn value, uncommon on Interstate 95 (Georgia). The front desk eagerly shares things that are happening in the area, especially low cost or free things to do in Savannah. Don't forget to ask about bluegrass concerts, stock car racing, the Savannah Wildlife Refuge and sightseeing tours. The inn will help with your reservations and offer recommendations for where the locals eat and dine.
The immaculate, cheerful interiors exude fresh energy and a delightful atmosphere. With nearly 100 stores, including the popular Bass Pro Shops, Dillard's, Target, Ruby Tuesdays, Victoria Secret and an engaging food court thanks to a nostalgic, functioning carousel, one can escape to shopping and convening at this beautiful Savannah Mall. Beautiful imaginative art decorates many walkways.
Why pay for more than you need? That's the thinking when one stays at Savannah Inn, Georgia Exit 109 on Interstate 95. Great beds, charming assistance and grab and go breakfast. Love the simplicity of it all. Plus, the staff will make sightseeing tour reservations with the shuttle picking guests up at the motel or arrange for tour parking, if you wish to drive into downtown Savannah. The on/off options for historic district tours is excellent! So, why drive downtown?
Did you ever come back from a day of touring in the downtown Savannah historic distirct and just say "It's good to be home"? That's the feeling you get at the Green Palm Inn. Diane and her very able and gracious assistants, Tammy and Elizabeth, do their best to make you feel comfortable and extremely welcome. Any reservations you need or some good touring advice they are there to help you. Every afternoon they have available wine, cold drinks, snacks and sweets, which you can enjoy in the very comfortable parlor. They are all extremely friendly as are all of the guests we encountered there (there are only 4 rooms so there aren't a whole lot of people). It makes for a relaxing time with good conversation. Breakfast also is a social affair. Diane's breakfasts are some of the best we've had at any B & B with the banana stuffed French toast being really outstanding. The rooms are very spacious and spotless. Located on Greene Square, you are an easy walk to anywhere in the Savannah Historic District. A stay with Diane is outstanding in every way. The Green Palm Inn represents everything to love about traveling, especially when ones to discover the local vibe.
Newly sophisticated restyled in 2008, the landmark bed and breakfast inn in Savannah Georgia's historic district reflects the clean elegance of the mid-19th Century townhouses, with overly-spacious guest quarters, luxurious granite bathrooms, street-level access, elevator, and a grand list of inclusive amenities (lovely breakfast, hors d'oeuvres with wine in the afternoon, nightly turn-down with pillow-top sweet, evening cordials, and all day refreshing beverages). The charming courtyard is a highlight, as is the elevator to all floors. This charming European style mini-hotel (16 rooms) is only steps away from historic theatres, Savannah College of Art and Design, chic boutique shopping, Savannah's beautiful riverfront plaza, City Market, and world-renowned restaurants. This downtown Savannah inn's location is unbeatable -- it quietly takes up a full city block on Oglethorpe Square, provides the center of town ambiance without street noise or tourist crowds, free on-site parking, and caterers to discerning travelers with spot-on recommendations, information and assistance. A southern charmer, for sure.
