The thing that makes Compass unique is their near total focus on constructing one building type: mixed-use multi-family buildings. Because of this focus they have become one of Seattle's top drawer Go To firms for multi-family work. Check out their portfolio to see how much of this work they've done, and always with a keen eye out for doing things right.
They carry some great tile, but be very careful of their return policy. They supplied some tile for a small bathroom remodel we did and even though the tile wasn't custom, and wasn't open, we got stuck with it. That was pretty frustrating.
They do a reasonable job with a wide range of fabrics, and in all the times we've dropped off clothes there they have never ruined anything. The only advice I will give you is to always add one day to the pick up time they tell you. Not sure they have ever had my cleaning done the day on the ticket.
Located just off the Seattle Center, Floyds has that signature dancing/drinking pig rotating on the sign out front. Their BBQ is good, although not out of this world. Mostly this is a beer drinking place more than anything else.
Thick juicy burgers with all the good stuff you want on them - bacon, blue cheese, mushrooms, you name it they probably have it. This is one of the few places around you can get a real malt instead of just a shake. I go just for that!
It's probably strange to enjoy going to see your doctor, but that is the case with Dr. Wilskie. She is so confident in her knowledge and skill that she comes across as totally approachable. Fortunately everything I've seen her for so far has been minor, but I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist.
Super friendly staff paired up with some great food makes a nice combination. I live in the same block as this restaurant so have been there many times. Their lunch buffet is just as good as their dinner menu, and that doesn't happen very often.
For some reason there are not many Indian buffets in the downtown area. This one has been around for a long time, and when you taste how well their food is seasoned you'll understand why. I can't even say if they serve a normal sit-down dinner, because they are SO good as a lunch spot that's when I always go.
Go for the waffles! He makes this amazing little grilled sweet waffle that is unlike anything you've had before. A perfect complement to your coffee or hot chocolate.
Because of where it is in Belltown you are just as likely to find folks going there for drinks as for the Spicy Ranch Noodles. Either one is a valid reason to go. The wide range of noodle dishes they offer means you'll not run out of things to try. I thought they found a nice balance of flavors on the dishes I tried.
