J & G Lunchmeat Villa
The great reputation is well earned. J&G take hoagies to a new level. The store has that wonderful deli smell which makes you even hungrier, as you wait the few minutes, for your sandwich. The staff is friendly, and seem to have fun as they work.
Draught Horse Restaurant & Pub
I stopped in with friends before a Temple/St. Joe's game. We made it past the F-bombs from Temple fans, and had a really good meal. The staff was great and make your visit a fun one. Inside is warm and welcoming. Outside...not so much.
Deli On 4th
Of all the little eateries in Conshohocken, this is one of the best. The sandwiches are a good size and very good. The turkey hoagie with sweet peppers is the best. Worth the stop.
China King
I found this restaurant when I first moved into the area. There are a number of Chinese food restaurants in this area, and I would suggest you spare yourself a visit here. Overly salty.
Connell's Pig & Whistle Deli
This is a hidden treasure in Havertown. The owners are always happy to see you, and are anxious to please. The choice of sandwiches is vast. I haven't tried them all, but the ones I have were delicious. The Italian hoagie is my favorite, so far.
Cedar Supermarket
It has been a while since I was last in this store. They carry a large variety of products, and the staff was friendly enough, but I don't think I would buy any of the prepared food. They could clean the place up a bit.
Chinese Buffet
I stopped in with one of my children, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, and the restaurant was spotless. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. The crab legs were a little small but very good. Well worth going back.
Chew Deli
The last time I visited was a while ago, but this place was impressive. It is a large store with a great variety of goods. I bought a small hoagie and it was very good. Much better than I expected
Spirit of Philadelphia
I have taken the cruise a couple times, and both were a ton of fun. One was a Christmas party which was a blast but the condensation on the windows made it impossible to see outside. The other was a business event in warmer weather. The scenery was spectacular. You get a whole new view of the city. It looked beautiful.
Bungalow Inn
This is an institution in Clifton Heights. There are tree different bars in the building. The small corner bar is the better of the three. The bartenders are always very friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.
