Maggie's Neighborhood Bar and Grill
Always too hot, bartenders cater to an Emory student clientele that is not too refined, so the drinks are heavy on the booze but use mostly cheap stuff.
Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q
Great BBQ. My favorite are the brisket fries, which are excellent buy may kill you. Decent beer selection and really nice outdoor seating. Sometimes there's a wait and parking is a pain.
Canton House Chinese Restaurant
Great dim sum, sometimes there's a long wait but we haven't found a better place in Atlanta. Know your dim sum or bring someone who does as a lot of the staff isn't knowledgeable about what they're selling.
Blackstock Vineyards & Winery
This is my favorite Georgia winery. Their wine, especially the "ABC" blend, is excellent. Their tasting room is also very nice and staff is very attentive.
Enoteca Roma Wine Bar
Excellent restaurant, I really like the different menu options. Good for a date too, though the restaurant is somewhat small. Great wine selection and okay drinks otherwise.
Three Sisters Winery
We love their wine and the family that owns and operates the vineyard is really nice and attentive. Some of their wines are "heritage" which means too sweet for me, but their other wines are excellent.
Twisted Spoke
Really awesome location and decor. Good drinks and beer list, excellent food. Staff looks tough but are very attentive. I recommend the burgers and brunch food.
P'cheen
Excellent food, location, and atmosphere. Has an Irish feel to it but the menu is very diverse and delicious. They also have good deals especially on the specials.
Triple R BBQ
Good BBQ and very nice service. I like their combo plates and all of their sides are excellent. I also like their ribs. Good place to stop on the way to Chattanooga.
Hot Stixx
A Mongolian-style BBQ place where you make your own stir fry. The location is really nice, in the lindbergh area, and the sauces are great. Service is fast. Great for groups.
