I went to Ray's for a dinner out with a college group, and we left satisfied. The food was authentic soul food - ribs, collard greens, cornbread, you name it. And it tasted excellent. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
We went here for drinks and tapas, and had a great time. The music and the atmosphere made the experience, and the food certainly complemented that. Pruebalo!
I love Crisp and Juicy, though the name doesn't do it justice. This Peruvian restaurant produces such great food, and it's not your typical take-out fare. It's always packed when we go, but the service is quick and efficient. Try it out!
I've been here a few times, and love it. The atmosphere is great, and it's so relaxing to browse the aisles and check out the massive selection of books The Annex has. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I've been to Luna Grill once, and have never forgotten it. It's in Dupont, which is a nice area. The service was good, and the food came out quickly, despite the business of the place. And it tasted great. It's a very popular restaurant for a reason - we even saw Gwen Ifill there!
We've been to the Upper Crust several times, and have to say, there are few places where you can find better pizza. The selections are diverse, and the taste is awesome. Try it out!
We happened on this place during a trip to Texas. We loved it. The quesadillas, the soft tacos, it was all wonderful. We wanted authentic Mexican food, and found it.
We bought a living room set, coffee table and side tables at Marlo. The salesperson was a little pushy, but we were certain about what we wanted. The quality of the furniture was great, and our own has lasted a while. We love it. Try them out!
We had lunch here during a trip to Galveston. We loved the sandwiches. The menu was diverse and interesting, and the food really tasty. Highly recommended!
We spent almost 2 weeks in Galveston, and ate here once. We loved it. The staff was nice (Southern hospitality), and the food great. Being on the seawall also helped the atmosphere. We'd eat there again.
