You simply can't beat the view or the ambience. This is a fine restaurant, with prices to match. I love the Salmon, especially at a table overlooking the city. The appetizers are excellent, as well. Five stars, but also five $
The very best place to get baseball bats. Just Bats has a great selection of prices, and prices that are less than 2/3 of the price of the same exact bat at a sports shop. We got a Demarini Maxim at 1/2 the advertised price at Dicks, and the bat is great.
Ever want to get yelled at when you are ordering? No really? Well, come on by to Cassell's, and you will not only get yelled at, but also get a great hamburger made to order, with tremendous potato salad, (with or without the horse radish). It ain't fancy, but it's good.
While they serve pasta and salads, if you are going to Compari's, you are going for the pizza. The old Compari's on Manchester and Sepulveda is long gone, but this smaller version is just as good.
Garlic and more garlic, but its really good. This is a simple restaurant, no table clothes, nothing fancy. The food, though, is excellent, and the service is good as well. The chopped salad is great. Walking distance from LMU, this is the nicest Italian restaurant around.
Not sure what the last reviewer was writing about, this is an exceptional seafood restaurant, with great main dishes, and a fabulous claim chowder. We had a great lunch, and I'd go back anytime.
Around the corner from my parents' place, the name implies only submarine sandwiches, but they have oh so much more. Some of the best pizza around, as well as delicious burgers makes this a great "to go" restaurant.
We recently visited here, but frankly, didn't know we were going to Rainbow Acres. We had a Delectibles gift certificate, and low and behold, it is part of Rainbow Acres. We were pleasantly surprised at the various items available, and the cake we got was fantastic.
Conveniently located in Raintree Center, Raintree Flowers has been around for 30 plus years. They have incredibly fresh roses, with prices to match. A nice alternative to grocery store florists.
On our recent trip to Phoenix, we had the option of a $30 taxi ride, or a $40 limo ride to the hotel. It wasn't a tough decision. The kids loved the ice cold water and the entire limo experience. I liked being pampered, and it sure beat a taxi.
