Milano's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service is always superb and the food doesn't disappoint. Each time I visit, I ask for the server's suggestions for dinner and they have never steered me wrong. The food always tastes fresh and authentic and the prices are appropriate for the type and amount of food that you get.
Pop's has everything you need to relax and enjoy your cigar smoking experience. They have all of the best cigars and tons of variety, good drinks and food that is available as well. The ladies that work up front are very nice and accommodating. Every time I have visited Pop's there have been different groups and types of people there which make for an always enjoyable experience.
I recently tried Kincaid's because I saw them featured in the newspaper in a burger cook-off. While they are not my favorite burger place, I did enjoy the bacon cheeseburger. The meat tasted very fresh, not frozen and the fried okra was really good for a fast food burger place. I would highly recommend Kincaid's to others. It's pretty good.
Eddie V's is fantastic - they have the best seafood of anywhere in the Fort Worth fine dining arena. The service is fantastic, especially at the bar. The happy hour leaves a bit to be desired as far as price but the atmosphere is electric and fun. I would recommend the lobster - fresh and tasty!
I've tried Dixie House 3 times and on two of those times I can honestly say that the food and service were phenomenal. They have the biggest and best chicken fried steak of any of the places around here. And they always have at least 10 pies just waiting for you to have a slice - and ALL of them are good. The only time that I did not enjoy my trip to DH, I think we arrived between shifts and the service was not up to the usual standards. But, I wouldn't hold that against them and will be returning for lunch soon.
Cabo Grande offers coastal Mexican food, but here, it is just average. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and they have great bartenders who really know how to take care of their customers. The prices are average for downtown i.e. a little more expensive then you would pay for the same food outside of downtown, but that is to be expected. I would go back, but probably just for happy hour.
This is a small shop, but they do a good job. This wasn't the best cut that I have ever had, but it certainly wasn't the worse. The prices are much less than you would pay for a haircut in a shop at the mall. They seem to be able to work customers in relatively easily. I recommend this place but advise you to have a really good idea of what you want done to your hair before you go in.
As a parent, this is place that I go when I cannot find something on my children's school supply list. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Most of the time they have exactly what I want and if they don't they are able to tell me where to go to get it. They are also an excellent resource for some additional study materials for the home for a child that is having trouble at school.
Fantastic chocolate! All of their products are made in house from scratch. They have so many wonderful items there. Almost everything comes in your choice of milk, dark or white chocolate and they are very creative. My family's favorite is the chocolate with peanut butter combination. They have wonderful gift ideas for all occasions and will even gift wrap for you. I highly recommend this place but if you go around the holidays, go early because they will run out of the really good stuff.
This is a good place for brunch on Sundays. They have a good selection of food and offer wonderful bellinis. They also open the bar up the college crowd on Thursday nights, so beware. Sometimes it does get a little rowdy. If you are looking for a more calm experience, I suggest brunch on Sunday. The prices are okay - they are the normal inflated prices for brunch that you will find anywhere else.
