I agree that their parking lot is soooo bad!! I used to think that the Salvation Army was a organization that would help if help was needed in certain cercumstances; but I now know that they are in it for the $$ just like most other businesses. I have went to them a few times in desperate need of some help for maybe a baby bed for my son or some kind of furniture that I needed at that time because I was laid off my job, or clothing, and they always told me there was NOTHING they can do! They recieve furniture, clothing, and houshold things FREE from generous people who think they are doing good and helping people and when people go to them for help they get the door slammed in their face! I begged the manager to help me once, I told her that I would WORK for the item I needed or if she would just give me a discount because I couldn't afford it..(they charge high prices for things they get for free)..she said "There is nothing I can do,if you wait until Monday it will be on sale for 1/2 off and no one will buy it before then." I reluctantly agreed because I needed the item then. I went home and called a few people I knew and asked to borrow the $$ so I could get what I needed because I couldn't wait until Monday and when I went back to the store to get the item, it was sold, that very same day, after the manager told me it wouldnt. I cried because I really needed that and just sat on a couch in the store and cried for awhile and the manager went out of her way to avoid me and wouldnt' make eye contact or even apologize. I guess she didn't have a heart because she knew I desperately needed that and begged her for it earlier that day.
To top it off they are rude and wont let you use the restroom thats in the back of the store. If you are in the store and your kid needs to use the restroom (kids cant hold it sometimes) they give you a mean look and say, "sorry, take him across the street or something" My kid was crying he had to pee so bad and they would'nt let him. Isnt that just hateful? I would Not recommend this store and would not donate here or buy here!! Donate to a church that cares not this place!! I even quit putting money in their bellringer containers after these incidents. I will donate to a place that actually helps people and does it with a smile.
I really like this store. As a nursing mother it is a relief to find a place where I can get a good selection of nursing bras and clothes. I always find what I need. The service is above and beyond and I am grateful to have such a store so close to where I live.
I love this place and the stylist that I see is fantastic. She always gets me in even if I dont have an appointment and she is the only one I have found that is not afraid to do what I ask her too. Most other places I walk out disappointed but not there I always get compliments when I leave.
I have been taking my children to Dr. Farinas for 3 yrs now since my son was born and I think he is a very friendly doctor and my son likes him. He asks me questions and also ask me if I have questions and the wait time is usually not bad. The staff is friendly also.
This is the absolute best flower shop any one could hope to go to. They are the most friendly people and have the best customer service I have seen almost anywhere. They will customize your order and go out of their way to create what you want. The end result is outstanding and I will always go there for all of my floral needs!
My children have been going to High Mount School since pre kindergarten and the school is very good. They score very high on national tests and have received several grants for their high academic achievements. The teachers are very committed to teaching the children and the classes have a good teacher/student ratio. I feel confident my kids are getting a good quality education at this school.
Carey's Pet Hospital is the only place I will bring my pets. The doctor is always friendly and great w/ my pets and their prices are the best around and they are very good at answering my questions and returning my phone calls.
