Probably the last true "old time" pharmacy left in the immediate area. Sort of like a five- and-dime store; if you need a mid-night run for something, it's probably here!
This is a great service, though not all that cheap. We rented a pod for the minimum amount of time - 2 days. They will take and recycle whatever you can fit in the pod. very convenient.
Very small place, but open year-round. Good selection of seasonal produce, baked goods, and seasonal decorations. A really nice community farm market.
As another reviewer wrote, this restaurant was THE Chinese restaurant until Jasmine arrived. It's still a good place for take-out, especially for those of us who live close.
We used to go to this cleaner, but the service and ability to do the job declined over the years. Not the friendliest service, either. There are better choices in the area.
Not bad, but it's a confusing shop. Most of the merchandise is pre-packaged, only they're also displays. Don't go expecting cash and carry; you usually need to place an order.
This shop carries a lot of colorful items, from glass to jewelry. A lot of judaica. Prices are high, but many items are hand-made, so unique. Great for specially selected gifts.
The Rhoads Garden is very expensive, but has one of the most amazing gift shops around. The Christmas decoration selection is wonderful, especially the Santas.
Children's boutique offers higher end clothing and gifts, so it's good for occasional gift shopping, but probably not for a full wardrobe unless you have a great disposable income!
Elkins Perk isn't as nice as it used to be since it changed hands, but you can get a decent cup of coffee before running to catch the train. Not much else around there anymore.
