Dimmers has more than athletic shoes. Prices aren't bad, especially if you use a coupon. I have purchased school shoes for my kids here, and cross-training shoes for me. The staff made sure we all had the right size.
One of our two favorite take-out places in the area. So much food for great prices, especially the full dinners. I love the salads; everything imaginable is in there!
With out a doubt the best prices and best selection in oriental rugs. If I could fill my house with oriental rugs, I would get them all from Maloumian. They let you try them out at home!
More than just running shoes; this place has a great selection of shoes, and takes all the time in the world to help its customers. They were very helpful with fitting my kids with the proper shoes.
I haven't owned a bike in almost 20 years, so I was nervous about going to purchase one. The staff didn't make fun of me or make me feel stupid for being behind the times in new bike technology. And they helped me pick exactly the right type of bike for me.
This place is tiny, yet it still seems to have everything in sporting goods. At least, that's what I've found for softball. Our team gets most of its equipment here.
This is THE meeting place for school chums. My kids' go regularly on Friday nights. It's cheap, healthy entertainment for kids. The staff do a good job of monitoring the teen-age crowd.
Gerhard's expanded to this location from Glenside. It's starting to look like a big-box store, which is sad. Gerhard's used to give great service; now only the big spenders get the staff's attention.
This place has whatever you are looking for, but you have to look hard. This is one store that could benefit from an expansion because every nook is packed. But the staff is great, and we have purchased several light fixtures here.
If I had to pay for this myself, I wouldn't go. I had a gift certificate, so I gave it a try. The Kobe sliders were good, otherwise I would say it's a typical steak-house, priced very high.
