Thai Thanee Restaurant
Great BYOB Thai restaurant with a large menu. Our favorite items are the panang and red curries. Great selection of vegetarian options in addition to their meat items.
Kabul Restaurant Afganistan Cuisine
If you like Middle Eastern food then Kabul is the place to go next time you are in Philly. They make a fantastic hummus. The ambiance is fantastic and the service great too.
Butala Emporium
This is a great place in Manhattan for those of Indian origin and those interested in Indian way of life. They have music CDs (spiritual and classical), small temples for the home, decoration items, religious books/calendars, Indian beauty, herbal, and ayurvedic products.
Chiangmai
Although this is the only Thai restaurant in Conshohoken, I feel that it is very good quality. We liked the drunken noodles and their various curries. It is BYOB.
Colleen's At The Savoy
Savoy is a nice place to have a casual dinner and drinks with friends. They have a dance floor in the bar area and on the weekends the djs usually play a good mix of music .
Butala Emporium Inc
This store is located in the heart of Jackson Heights and is the only place in this neighborhood that sells items for the Indian home including music, religious literature, beauty, and ayurvedic products. The selection in this store is more extensive than their sister store in Manhattan.
Walnut Street Supper Club
Portofino's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Philadelphia. Their bruschetta is absolutely fresh and delicious. The spinach ravioli is absolutely divine with their tomato basil sauce.
Sahara Grill
Although they are limited in their vegetartian options they do have a vegetarian platter that includes stuffed grape leaves, teh best hummus ever, fava bean stew, tabouli, falafel with authentic yogurt sauce and hot green chili sauce. You will be stufffed and happy after dining here!
Minar Palace Indian Restaurant
Minar Palace is a trendy Indian restaurant in the heart of Philadelphia. They serve great North Indian food and is much more reasonable in price than other Indian restaurants in the city.
El Fuego
If you like burritos then you need to try one at El Fuego. They use fresh ingredients and give extremely large portion sizes. Very reasonably priced.
