I saw Dr. McKillican twice and I'm glad I did. I've always been skeptical about chiropractors since my friends that have seen them had good results with some and bad results with others. It also seemed like once you see one you will have to become a regular patient. Finally, I was a little put off by his name - j/k!
Anyways, I was getting muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders and back from sitting improperly at a desk all day, and it got to the point where it was really painful and nothing I tried was helping. Since I was skeptical, I decided to first try a deep tissue massage and if that didn't work I'd try him out. It didn't work.
So I called them and I was able to come in that day which was exactly what I wanted. They were all very nice and he was totally fine with the fact that I only wanted to see him as needed and not be a "regular". I think he could also sense that I was a little scared and he was very comforting.
He did the adjustments and I felt so much better. The pain and tension in my back completely went away! I still had a little pain in my neck and shoulders so I decided to go back the next day and he did a few more adjustments.
I feel so much better and it trips me out that he was able to do that much in just 2 short visits. Even though I hope I'll never need to see him again (nothing personal), if this happens again, he'll be the person I go to.
I know this review is super long, but I think he deserves it.
FINALLY I found a good nail salon, after living here for 2 years and going to a bunch of places that were either low quality or too expensive (or both). I saw it had 2 good reviews and it was very close by so I decided to give it a try.
I've really been wanting pink and white acrylics but using white glitter. The last place I went they charged me $50 and used barely any glitter, but this place did exactly what I wanted for $35. Everybody there was super sweet. Kim did my acrylics and she did a wonderful job. She was thorough and she wasn't rough. Also she doesn't make the acrylics too bulky.
The guy did my pedicure and he also did a wonderful job. I got the deluxe for $30. He exfoliated thoroughly and gave good massages, so my feet and legs felt refreshed. Such a difference from the other places around here who just barely touch you and charge you the same amount. He did all sorts of stuff like different exfoliating and a mask and paraffin and the hot stones massage...I was a happy camper. Another thing I noticed is that I got a solid color on my toes and they didn't push me to get a flower or gem or some other thing that would make them a quick 5 bucks.
I am very satisfied with my experience here. I plan on making this my regular nail salon.
This "rescue" group sells dogs with Parvo. My puppy started getting symptoms a few days after I adopted him so I brought him to the vet and he tested positive for Parvo. I immediately called the "rescue" group to let them know that their other puppies (and unvaccinated dogs) may have it, and she didn't even care! She told me I could take him back and exchange him! Like he was a sweater.
Canine Parvovirus is awful. If you are looking for a dog and not familiar with Parvo, I would encourage you to look it up. This is not kennel cough or giardia, this is a deadly virus that can cost thousands of dollars and hospitalization to treat.
Rescue groups are supposed to care about animals. Please do not support what they are doing.
I do not recommend Dr. Bisharat to anyone. My appointments were very unproductive because I had to wait for about 2 hours to see the doctor @ each appointment. While I was waiting I would hear other patients complaining about the wait and if it's even worth it.
Then when I finally see her and spend time explaining things I needed, she referred me to a specialist for EVERY SINGLE THING! You would think she is getting a commission or something. So she never did any doctor work herself. Examples are referring me to a gynocologist just because I needed birth control & a pevlic exam, referring me to a dermatologist just because I wanted something for my acne, and referring me to an allergist just because I wanted allergy meds. Those are all things she could have done herself! (in theory) She did say she would give me a script for flonase, but she didn't.
She never called me to go over bloodwork with me, so after a lot of waiting I called them and found out my Vit D levels were extremely low and I had to start taking supplements. She only calls about things that are "truly" important, not a measly vitamin D deficiency.
So basically I will never go to this woman again, and I will go to a doctor that will actually be THE doctor.
I wanted to also say that some people want this is a doctor and this is what they look for, just not me.
This woman is a nightmare and I would never let anyone I love near her. She comes up with bogus diagnoses without even listening to you, she hurries you through your very expensive appointment, and then she overdoses you with meds. I went to her because I did a search for someone who took my insurance and man was it a horrible experience! She put me on such high doses of meds that I almost got into a car accident and I would stumble and even fall over. This woman should not be allowed to practice psychiatry.
Unfortunately, this store sells puppy mill dogs, usually from MO, KS, OKL, among others. Puppy mills are very cruel, and if you are unfamiliar with them I encourage you to look it up. No matter how cute the puppies are, buying from puppy mills is a sick practice and should never supported.
Even though it's expensive, this is a great help for like if your pet cannot handle going to vets, or for any reason you want the privacy of your own home.
This place isn't worth it. The vets are mediocre (but Dr. Kauffman is good) and the prices are too high...and I mean very very high. But the front staff was friendly.
Love Dr. Zoryan!! She is super nice, compassionate, and knows her stuff. I def. recommend her if you're in the area! The other vets are also great. Front staff is fine, it seems like they have a lot to handle at once.
It's good this clinic is here for ER situations. However since this is an emergency hospital, things work a bit differently, which is fine with me. The prices are high (but normal for any ER), so be prepared!
