Whenever we go to Scottsdale, we always manage to find ourselves at Lulu's Cupcakes. They're like a siren's song for my husband; he can't seem to get enough of them. These aren't your grandma's cupcakes - these are gourmet, high end cupcakes that are a small fortune - but worth the look of satisfaction on my husband's face whenever he bites into one.

I stopped in the Antigua Bakery one day while running errands to pick up something to satisfy my sweet tooth. They are a small bakery, but my senses were assailed by some pretty delectable smells. After some perusing, I settled on some chocolate covered cookies that were out of this world.

The Sweet Pea Bakery & Catering did the cake for my mom's birthday. It was great! We didn't really have a design in mind, but we gave them some facts about her and they came up with a decorative and delicous cake. Everyone was impressed.
Pie Zanos Kitchen
The pizza and sandwiches at the Pie Zanos Kitchen are amongst the best in Phoenix. I love their chicken pesto sandwiches and my husband is practically addicted to the build your own pizza. If he had his way, we'd eat there every night.
Lollies Galore
We ordered the favors for my friends shower from Lollies Galore. Their consultants were great in helping me pick out just the right lollies for the occasion and getting them to us in time. They were beautifully wrapped and made the perfect, unexpectedly fun favors.
Sweet Light Studio
My brother is taking classes at the Sweet Light Studio to learn how to take effective and some pretty amazing pictures of his kids. He's gotten really good at it and thinks the classes are great.
Victorian Cake Company
I was in charge of dessert for a family dinner and not wanting to cook, I wound up getting cupcakes from the Victorian Cake company. They were a hit! They were moist, fresh and delicious.

My brother in law is a fanatic with almonds and cashews, so for his birthday last year, we ordered an assortment from the Almond Brothers. They have an impressive online ordering system that made it easy to pick something out and have it delivered. He loved it.
Scottsdale Bakery & Cupcake Co
The Scottsdale Bakery & Cupcake company has really good cupcakes. I like them better than Lulu's, but my husband seems to like theirs better. No matter - we visit both whenever we're in town so both of us can enjoy our favorite moist cupcakes.
Canine Cookie Jar
When we're in the area, we'll stop by the Canine Cookie Jar to pick up treats for our dogs. Our poodle loves the treats there and their prices are all that bad.
