My daughter has had a terrible time trying to resolve an issue re bunk beds she ordered from The Bean Bag Store. They have been extremely uncooperative and even deceptive; their records show the Mgr. (or supervisor) "Annie" talked to my daughter and that the problem was resolved. Nothing could be further from the truth: Annie did not even return my daughter's phone call so I cannot imagine how she considers the problem resolved. The bed is still broken - which happened a wk. after it was delivered and set up. It is a bunk bed set with seating and a table underneath the top bunk; the table and seats fold out to become the lower bunk. The problem is, the first time you make the seating into the bed, scratches are inevitable because of the poorly-made table with its metal hooks that attach to the side rails. This bed is of such poor quality that I don't think it's even safe for a child to sleep in. The hooks broke off in about a week - thank goodness, the child was not sleeping in the bed at the time! This bed was close to $1,000. and the Co. is not willing to accommodate my daughter in any way other than they have offered to ship another table to her. They say they do not accept returns. My daughter should have done some homework on this Co. before ordering such an expensive item. (We have now discovered they are not members of the Better Business Bureau. ) Maybe I can help someone else who is considering doing business with the Bean Bag Store. My advice: Don't! No matter how pleasant they are prior to delivery, you will get no customer service afterwards.
I would also like to tell Elizabeth M. who was dissatisfied b/c her order had not been shipped after a number of weeks: if you still haven't received it (Oct. 23), cancel the order while you still can!
