I've been here several times with coworkers. This place is one of my boss' favorite. It is your typical Mongolian BBQ place but nothing way special. The restaurant itself is no frills and a little dumpie but clean. The prices are good and so is the food. If you're craving the food then check this place out but don't expect anything great.
This is a pretty good place for asian food. They have a large selection of Thai and Chinese menu options and the portions are pretty large for the price. I'm a big fan of the pinapple rice and their curry dishes. Everything tastes fresh prepared and the service is decent. It's also right next to Diddy Reese which is like the best place for cookies and ice cream.
This place was okay. I am so thankful for the Massage Company spas all over LA and took a friend here while relaxing in Santa Monica. The spa and the therapist I got did not wow either of us but it was way better than spending more somewhere else. Definitely check this place out if you need a massage and don't mind non-plush environments.
This is a fairly new place around the corner from the 3rd St Promenade. My boyfriend and I went here because we were handed a coupon. The place is nicely decorated with a open front patio to dine in. The inside area is decorated with local art for sale covering the walls. The food was okay. It's mostly California cuisine. The prices were okay but it was nothing special.
So, this academy is also a salon. Last summer I was craving a major change in style and decided to try this place out. I'm glad I did. I did not wait to long but I did schedule my appointment in the morning. You should definitely schedule an appointment because apparently you could wait a long time as a drop in. The student that cut my hair was a very nice young man who genuinely cared if I liked my cut. The whole process took a little longer than I wanted because the student has to get their teacher's approval before they can begin or finish your cut but it was worth it. For $25 I had a gorgeous new hair style and I learned a lot about hair care during the day. If you've got patients and you're open minded then you'll be happy with the results. Also going in the summer, you will get the students that are getting ready to graduate.
This is okay but nothing special. The restaurant is pretty nice with a pianist and classy ambience. However, the prices do not reflect the quality of food you get.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last year and we both had a great time. The wine menu is amazing with a lot of different choices with the focus on quality instead of brand names. The food was also amazing in a subtle way, improving upon classics instead of putting extreme items on the menu. Expect to spend some money when you are here. They also usually have low key live music softly playing during dinner hours.
My boyfriend and I went here because we had a coupon. The food was really good and they had a large selection so decent priced and excellent quality wine. We had to remind the waiter about the coupon at the end of the meal when he brought us the check with no discount. Other than that things were pretty good. It a charming restaurant and good for a date night.
I ate here once for their champagne bunch with bottomless mimosas. The food was okay for buffet eating and naturally the mimosas were good times. The desserts were exceptionally good. Overall, it was okay but not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.
So when my friend texted me to meet her, I had no idea what kind of place I was heading to. So this place is way out in the sticks, east of Hollywood with little street parking. We walk in to find girls stripping to bikinis in a crowded small box of a bar. Covering the walls were slightly creppy painting of clowns. I guess it was okay but not really my scene. the drinks were okay and the music the girls were dancing to was decent. There were also a few times that we were all stunned by the athletics of the girls swinging around on the pole with six inch spiked heels.
