A little bit different than your typical New York pizza. The crust is supper thin, with a crispy bottom (true to the name) but the rest of the crust is chewy. This actually my favorite pizza in NY and I am a 20 year native.
Great menu and great service. The diner has a cool "retro" feel and look. Their menu is different from typical diner fare. Everything is similar but has a slight twist. The result is a unique and intriguing menu that always satisfies.
Beautiful view of the water, fun night life and awesome beach volleyball combine to make the Windjammer an Isle of Palms must visit. Either for a quick afternoon beer while surfing the beach or for a game of volleyball or for an all night party, you will not be disappointed.
A great gentleman's club filled with many single ladies. This is THEE place to be in Chucktown after hours. The place is filled to the gills with single ladies (off of the stage) looking for single men. You can continue to party even after the rest of Charleston's bars have closed for the night. The after hours scene here is always hitting and always a blast.
Yes this place is seedy, but it is a small music venue designed as a dive bar. If you're looking for $15 martinis then this is not your place, and this is not your neighborhood. A great place to see a live show and to grab a cheap beer.
Great NY bagels. A little different than your typical H&H bagel. 20 years in NYC and pick a bagels are my favorite. Their bagels are huge and so deliciously chewy. They also have many salads and other lunch options, or great fixings to make a bagel sandwich. MMMMM.
It is amazing that the coffee shop is still in buisiness. The food, service and price are all terrible. I lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and never made it in until I had a large group of friends visiting NYC. There is great hype surrounding the coffee shop so I decided to stop in. The food was of low quality with small portions and took forever. The service was ridiculous, we waited 30 minutes to get our bill, getting water or ketchup for the table was equally impossible. I will never give them my business ever again.
A good diner in the heart of the village. One of the better NYC diners in this portion of Manhattan. The Waverly Restaurant (really a diner) has an extensive menu and offers alcohol, which many of the diners do not.
A standard NY dinner. They have an extensive menu of dinner favorites. They are a 24hr joint which is their best value added. The food is good, though the french fries have historically been soggy and very low quality.
A great place to have a historic pint. They have a varied menu with something for everyone, good nightly specials. The best reason to come is to be a part of New York City history.
