Weir's is a wonderful furniture store. We've had problems with their delivery guys in the past but still go back because their products and prices are the best. Make sure and get some popcorn while you shop!
If you want a fun weekend experience do the following: Go to Jimmy's and taste some wine and appetizers while the cooks make your Cuban (best sandwich in Dallas). Get a bottle of wine and your sandwiches and enjoy them in the back room. On your way out, pick up some groceries to make yummy italian food at home that night....don't forget more wine!
Top notch high end restaurant! We went here for restaurant week and the view is phenomenal. The food was great as well! We felt a little rushed but it was restaurant week and they were needing to get more people in and out.
This is the best hummus in town! Make sure and go on Tuesday night for $2 tapas night. In addition to the hummus, try the lamb rolls and the russian chicken salad. I believe they have specials on wine and sangria as well.
This is one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. If you want authentic, delicious Italian food, try Momo's. Don't expect garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, and alfredo sauce. This place is much different than your generic italian. You won't be disappointed!
This is one of our neighborhood standbys in Lake Highlands! Go here on any night of the week and you're guaranteed to see someone you know. It's BYOB so remember your bottle of wine. My husband and I and our couple friends can get out of their for about $20 and that's with salads, a pizza and a canoli to split. And we can bring their baby with no worries!
It seems like all the new restaurants in Dallas are the high end comfort food concept (Park, The Porch, Hibiscus, Screen Door, etc. etc). Hattie's has by far the best food and I think their Mac and Cheese is the best in Dallas!
Very cute atmosphere at this restaurant....kind of a French bistro crossed with an English pub. The pizza crust is very very thin and crispy and very good! And the salads are great too! Last time we were there, our waiter gave us free beer samples...can't go wrong there!
I'm a huge Lola fan! My husband and I have gone for an anniversary and loved the quiet atmosphere of the little house where this restaurant is located. We were very impressed with the food and will definitely go back again!
This is the best sushi restaurant in Dallas. When you go, make sure and start with the foie gras! Have the chef recommend your sushi...he's never let us down. Dinner is when you can really taste the quality but at lunch they have a delicious sushi lunch deal for $14. Enjoy!
