There are not many meat markets around. Lawrence has been around for a long time providing fine cuts of meat. There staff is very helpful. Meat is good quality. And if you are hungry around lunch time they have a BBQ lunch offered right outside of the store.
Pascal's has the most delicious pastries. Good Sandwiches. And in the Summer you can eat outside on tables that have tablecloths from Provence, France. It is very pleasant place for lunch. A little taste of France in Danville.
Raising Loafer's homemade bread sandwiches are so good. It is so saisfying to have a nutritious delicious lunch. The staff are very nice. You will enjoy your lunch at this restaurant.
Cherubini's is a great place to have a cup of tea and a sweet roll or sandwich. The coffee shop backs up to the Alamo creek and on nice days you can eat outside overlooking the creek or during the winter inside is nice with a cup of soup and a friend - you will have a relaxing time visiting. Everyone is pleasant - it is a cozy place to visit. Their sandwiches are good!!
Give me a Brass Bear sandwich any day and I will be happy. I love their sour dough ham sandwiches. But do trade off for one of their ruben sandwiches every now and then. Friendly service. They have some seating inside and outside. So you don't need to order to go. But best of all the sandwiches all are delicious - filled with good stuff and are large. There are other deli foods but I just go for the sandwiches.
I love Polka Dot Attic. It has treasuers that you cann't find anywhere else. Some come from estate sales but some of the merchandise is new - like cards or clever signs for the kitchen and family room. But I go for the old - books, linens, knick-knacks. I always find something for myself or a friends. Located in the center of Danville. You will enjoy your visit.
I always enjoy going to Richard's. They always have what I am looking for. Their store is packed if good quality craft supplies. They have a tremendous amount of scrapbook supplies, silk flowers, ribbons, frames. Also have items you can give as gifts at a reasonable price. And if there is something you really want but feel you cann't afford, look for one of their coupons in your local newspaper. Richard's attracts customers from miles around.
Yesterday I visited China Moon with a friend for lunch. We ordered Walnut Prawns. They were good. The shimp were plump and fresh. The sauce was good. We also had salad and soup. The soup was perfect. The meal was very reasonable. The waitress was very pleasant. We will be back.
II hve been to Three Brothers several times and found that the quality of meat used in the dishes was poor. One dish I had was sweet and sour pork. The meat was so tough it was hard to chew. So I have not been back.
A very nice small restauraunt on Mission Street. Formal dining. Framed photos of opera stars line the wood paneled walls. It has excellent Italian food. A warm private place to go.
You will always want to return.
