While it is a small shop, the owner is very knowledgeable about parrots and cares deeply about their welfare. I took all 3 of my parrots there for grooming and was pleasantly surprised. One of my parrots is very suspicious of grooming and she did fine with the proper handling.
If you love your bird, this is the place to take them for grooming. It is by far and long a better place for parrots. I have gone to Petsmart and Petco and was horrified by the conditions they keep their birds in. Filthy water daily, no fresh food and no air circulating contributes to many respiratory diseases that fragile birds are extremely susceptible to. PBFD and aspirillis are by 2 of the diseases that flourish in those conditions, both are slow and deadly to parrots.
I recommend Premium for toys, food and grooming as well as boarding. The birds have interaction with people and many are out of their cages a good part of the day, nothing like you will find at any of the major chains.
It is morally wrong to buy parrots as they are almost extinct in the wild and rescuing parrots is the way to go if you know enough about them. They are delicate and deserve the very best.
