Just had the most awful service of my life. We had no water so we called just any old person in the book. Big mistake. The guy comes at 10:55am and helps me locate my tank. I have to move some stuff so he says he's going down the road to another job quickly. He comes back 10 minutes later, introduces himself to my husband (didn't introduce himself to me) and then leaves AGAIN around 11:20 without saying a word. My husband calls him at noon to ask him where he was, and he says he's coming back. He comes back 2.5 hours after he left. He didn't speak to me much nor did he look me in the eye more than 5 times. His coworker showed up dirty from head to toe and lit two cigarettes on my property, smoked them and then threw them down in my yard. This one also wanted to follow me into every room in my home with a faucet to watch me turn them on! They took the majority of the time "trying" to find my well outside. They arrived at 1:40 and started writing the bill up at 2:45. So add that up. It's approx. 1 hour and 25 minutes but get charged for 2.5 hours. I said no way, the bill was over $300 at that point with the $109 part. So he got mad and didn't want to talk to me anymore. The other guy found the well during this and when I asked where I was told "over there" twice. I had to make them show me. The first guy tried to leave in such a hurry that he didn't even have me sign my name to the invoice for a credit card transaction. He didn't say good bye or have a nice day, just walked out my door and I had to follow him. I have water now, but my well is leaking and I'm so not having these guys fix it. Terrible, awful service and I will never ever call them again! Stay far, far away from these crooks.
She misdiagnosed my child as having allergies and I told her I thought it was a sinus infection. She put my child on Nasonex anyway and when I said I didn't want to continue the steroid medication (due to warnings about the medication and nose bleeds) but wanted to explore further, she dropped us and passed us to someone else. She didn't even follow up with us. By the way, it was a blocked sinus infection and it was cleared up with antibiotics. My child was tested for allergies and she has NONE. My child's nose bleeds stopped when I stopped the Nasonex. Thanks for listening Dr.
****UPDATE**** I did get the passes on August 3, 2010. So they did make good on their offer. I'm still not going back but I wanted to be fair about my review.
My family went here on June 27th for the first time. We were "greeted" by Matt (glasses and spikey hair) at the mini golf station with a glance up at us as we came in. He didn't say a word so I had to tell him why we were there (Fun Pass coupon) and what we would like. I had to ask him if we were to take the balls on the counter to which he responded with a glance in my direction and a mumbled "yea". We stood there waiting for our clubs and then had to ask for them. Thankfully I read the sign on the counter so I knew which course to go to...Matt didn't tell us a thing or even wish us a good time. We finished our mini golf and went inside to use the restroom. At this point, the adults decided to use the other part of my coupon and go for a go kart ride. When I went over to Matt, he sighed...he actually sighed! I told him that we would like to do a go kart ride but that I wanted to use the other part of my coupon so we would buy one get one free as we did for the mini golf. Matt finally looked at me, but only to laugh and say that I had already used my coupon. I told him that yes I had, but the coupon entitles the barer to all activities at Mel's Funway Park for buy one get one. He pulled it out and read it and again told me it was a one time use. It does say that, and I was trying to use it one time...that day. The coupon reads as follows: Mel??s Funway Park, LLC?? Buy one get one free, batting cages, driving range, go-karts, mini golf, lazer tag, and lazer maze. So, the wording indicates that I would receive a buy one get one for each of your activities at the park not that I am only entitled to one of them. If that was the case, the coupon would read OR instead of AND. Matt was incredibly rude, rolling his eyes, scoffing about us to the customers behind us and just being completely snippy with me telling me that I could only use the coupon once. I repeated that I knew that but that wasn't the issue, I was using it once and he was denying me the benefits of the coupon. I explained the use of the word "and" as opposed to "or" and was told "we always just allow one, but I've never seen this one before". That statement confused me because if he's never seen the coupon before, how could there be a precedent for how employees are to treat them? He dismissed us, shoving the coupon at me and telling me to "go and try it" with the go kart people. It was as though we were trying to get away with something. I contacted a woman named Laurie who is higher up in the company. She apologized profusely and even offered me passes to come back to the park. That was over 2 weeks ago and after another email asking her about the passes again, I still haven't seen anything nor has she responded to my inquiry about the passes. I'm not sure why they would offer these to me and then ignore me when I say yes please. We will NEVER go back here and I have told all three of my mom's groups about this. What nonsense this place is.
I went to this store for the first time just a few days ago and I was completely blown away. The store is beautiful, but you really can't go wrong with chocolate and the woman working there was about the friendliest person I've come across in a store. I'm not sure if she was the owner but I assume so. She was welcoming to both me and my 4 year old and acted like she couldn't be happier to have us in her store. I LOVE that. She also spoke to my child as well as myself and that goes a long way with me. Then there was the chocolate! My goodness it was the best tasting and smoothest I have ever had. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur ;) It was just heavenly. I didn't want to leave and plan to come back for the holidays and occasional treats. The price was very reasonable too, a bit over $4 for 4 pieces of good sized chocolates. Nothing like getting a small truffle from Godiva. I highly recommend this shop to everyone who really and truly loves chocolate. Not to mention good, honest customer service.
I started going here in Oct of 09 to finish up a a 3 digit weight loss goal. I had never been in a group exercise setting and was quite nervous! It was wonderful! I was taken under one student/employee's wing the first night and in the weeks that followed, Sensei Shawn and other students helped me to learn the moves and kept me motivated during our classes. Eight months later I have reached my goal and have lost 101 pounds. More importantly I have found a second family who cheers me on and supports me in my health goals. I have never felt silly or that I didn't belong there. This isn't a place filled with Paris Hiltons, it's just real people (wonderful people) all working together to get or stay healthy. Seriously, everyone is friendly and helpful and Sensei Shawn will whip you into shape! I HIGHLY recommend this studio to anything in the area. You won't find this calibur of people and class anywhere else.
I LOVE this store. The food is excellent and the prices are comparable if not lower than the major grocery stores in the area. What I love the most is that my daughter (4) and I are on a first name basis with most of the people who work there. They have been so kind and friendly, even giving us a sample of an item on the shelf at no charge so that I could try it first. My daughter was also given a flower pin by an employee which totally made her day. They are clean, well staffed, I never have to wait in line, and I love the food there. Now if only nicer people would shop there it would be utopia!
