I have been to Canyons once before and I enjoyed it very much. It is in a nice location in Historic Woodstock. The atmosphere was welcoming - a family friendly community gathering place. The food was great and at a decent price. I will definitely visit again.
I went to the Atlanta Center for Derm. Diseases last summer to have a wart removed from my thumb. I honestly can't remember who I saw - I think it was probably a PA - but everyone there was very friendly. I was in the waiting room for a good while, but once I was called back, it was a very efficient visit. Best of all, no more ugly, annoying wart, not even a scar. :)
I went to lunch with a friend here and was sadly disappointed. Though I liked the community atmosphere and the facility itself, I was not thrilled with the food.
This is a very nice used book store. I have been once or twice and have always found something that I had been wanting and had definitely not expected to find in a used book store. Very well-organized and neat.
I went to Source 4 a few times this past summer on a month pass. The facilities are great - a lot of machines, a lot of choice in machines, a nice weight area, and a large multipurpose room where the many and various classes took place. Great for families with children as they offer child care. The staff were all very friendly, especially the personal trainer that I had one session with, Melissa, who was also very capable of motivating her clients. The gym provides bottled water and towels for your work-out and has a spacious locker room and shower area.
I HIGHLY recommend E'Clips salon. I have been going to Al for as long as I can remember, as has my grandmother, my mother, and my sister. Al is not only a very skilled, professional stylist, he is also exceedingly friendly and welcoming. I have gone to one or two other stylists over the years, but I have always come back to Al's. He is a perfectionist, simply the best, all around. World class!
I am a new patient to Alpharetta Internal Medicine. I saw Tina Strickland, a physician's assistant. I was, unfortunately, not very pleased with the visit. I did not like the feel of the office itself, though I'm at a loss to say why, and I was not made to feel particularly welcome by the PA. She was not very sociable and seemed to feel that the questions I asked were stupid. Personally, I get uncomfortable and flustered in new situations like this one (so I'll admit I could have made her feel awkward as well), but my discomfort was only increased during my visit to Alpharetta Internal Medicine. However, I got what I needed while there and in a timely manner.
My family and I have been going to Dr. Ledford for as long as I can remember. He and each and every one of the dental hygienists are exceedingly friendly and welcoming. He is a family dentist and is great with children as well as adults. I myself started going to him at the age of two, and I can never remember being afraid, only of building foam-block castles in the waiting room, of the treasure box when I had no cavities, of Dr. Ledford telling me how beautiful my teeth are each visit, and of the hygienists talking and laughing with me. As I said before, he is a family dentist because he accepts patients of any age, but also, in my opinion, because he and everyone else there makes you feel like part of their family. Wonderful family dentist!
