She is an attentive and nice doctor. Really had no troubles with her. However she gets really busy and it is hard to get an appointment unless it is an emergency. North End center is part of MGH so you could use the MGH network and their medical walk-in instead of ER in case of emergency.
Please don't go for a traditional chicken or lamb kebab. Yes, they are awesome there but do yourself and favor and choose something of the specials' menu. Chicken and eggplant dish I had was out of this world. The store is full of picture's of the owner's son which is a bit weird, but a couple of times he played his son's cds and he is talented. My favorite kebab place in the area.
Every time I have to have a special dinner planned and I fail the preparation, I call Samurai. They are almost always available and food is awesome. It's Asian-Japanese fusion so it can satisfy a wide range of eaters: pad thai or sushi - you choose. And food is always great. Service can be a miss, but usually pretty decent. They have a nice dim decor and great drinks so it's a perfect pre-party dinner
Very South End! They almost always have some kind of theme. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, which I loved. Perfect for a casual date or time with friends as you can get several tacos and share. Brunches are pajama brunches so the staff is wearing theirs and you are more than encouraged to show up in yours. A bit overpriced, but a great experience.
Portions are big, many choices, but really nothing special and service could be lacking. That being said, I'll be coming often on Saturday mornings to cure my hangover.
They are famous for being kosher, so they don't have a large selection of meat. That being said, their entrees are always great. I usually go there for the fish entree. They alternate their specials so check them out online before you. Tip: after 2 pm they offer discounts on their meal and if you order a meal, a side of fruit salad is only 2 dollars! Awesome deal!
My hairdresser Pepe just moved to this place and I followed, although it is a bit off the way for me and far from the T. Pepe is awesome, but make sure you insist on what you like. I was impressed by the new salon and the people there. Very cosy and beautiful design.
Now I think this is my favorite steakhouse in Boston. I love the location, the setting and most of all food! Amazing steaks but also plenty of great options for non-meat eaters. Deserts are great. Our waitress was amazing. Def pricey though, so go for a Restaurant week if you are on the budget. Unlike many restaurants, they serve a great menu with plenty of choices
I have been here once on a weeknight and it was great. I love the set up of the boutique hotel. On weeknights it's filled with the finance crowd from the neighboring investment shops, usually on the more mature side. I wish I could tell you how it is on the weekends, but I can't. After waiting for an hour in line, I chose to go else where.
Excellent people watching! This might be the only place in Boston where they got Mojitos right. The set up is very cosy, although the place may seem small. Perfect for catching up with friends or meeting new people ;-) Get here early cause the line albeit inside the hotel can get a bit ridiculous
