This is a nice non- chain choice for lunch or dinner. Good variety on the menu. Pretty kid friendly and the service is usually good.

We love Dr. Mike. My daughter was always very fearful of the dentist until we switched to this office. By far the most compassionate and understanding pediatric dentist.
Di Bello's Pizza-Family Rstrnt
Good and cheap basic Italian food. It's a small little space in a strip mall- nothing fancy. They also do catering for parties. I have not tried the pizza
Varsity Pizza
If you are going up to S.U. Hill, you have to stop and grab a slice at Varsity. Fast and pretty good- but visit more for the experience and nostalgia.
Matterhorn Restaurant
Always a fun place to go with friends. A big group is better so you can try more of the fondues. Do not skip the chocolate dessert fondue!
Phoebes
This is a nicer restaurant for lunch and dinner. They have good soup and sandwich choices for lunch. Also close to the theatre. Good place to grab a bite before or after a show.
Stella's Diner
This place is always busy, but the staff works fast and it is worth waiting. Do not skip the mac and cheese. Breakfast is good too!
Kitty Hoyne's Irish Pub
Pretty good irish / pub food with a good beer selection. Fun place to go with friends to hang out in Armory square.
Doc's Little Gem Diner
What my parents refer to as a "greasy spoon". Good diner food. Especially the homemade mac and cheese and the delicious pie selection.
Los Toltecos
This place has decent, more authentic Mexican food. Good place to hang out when the weather is nice.
