Donelan's has been around for a while. Their prices are a little higher than the big chain stores, but that's expected and accepted for the convenience of not dealing with the big supermarkets...especially on Sundays!
Townsend House
I love the Townsend House. I remember getting so excited as a child when my parents would say we were going to the Townsend House for dinner. It has such a cozy feel to it. The chicken parm is some of the best I've ever tasted!
Egg Shell Restaurant
Great breakfast. Sometimes you'll wait if you show up at peak hours but after you're seated they take good care of you. Food is prepared quickly and "just like mama used to make it".
Mansion
If you're in Miami looking for some hot night life, Mansion is a good place to check out. Spacious club, good beats and you never know who you'll spot there.
Ice Cream Factory
This place has been here forever! I remember coming here as a child and loving the ice cream as much as I do today. Plenty of flavors to choose from and everything from cones to sundaes to frappes.
Brookside House Of Pizza
Awesome place for a quick lunch. Pizza is good, subs are great. Only downside is that it's pretty tiny in there.
Wally & Barneys
Wally & Barneys (WB's) is better known as a night club than a restaurant. I've only eaten here once or twice...the food wasn't bad. The club side of it can get pretty crowded but the staff seem to do a good job of keeping out the riff raff.
Lorden True Value Hardware
Lorden's is a nice little hardware store. Very clean. I enjoy shopping at this place over Home Depot or Lowes any day!
The Coach Stop
I've been to the Homestead 4 times now and have enjoyed every time. The food is wonderful and the staff always friendly. I like the atmosphere also, it has a cozy feel.
J W Hill's Sports Bar & Grill
JW Hills is a fabulous place to grab dinner and watch a game at the bar...or even not watch a game...sit in the dining room with a bunch of friends instead. The food is very good and the drinks are certainly not weak.
