We had our wedding cake made here and more recently had my parent's 50th anniversary cake made at this shop. Great place if you need a cake for a special occasion including birthdays and many others. Lots of choice on flavours and the prices are reasonable.
As a family we like this all you can eat buffet style Chinese restaurant. Lots of choices that kids will enjoy too. Prices are not outrageous.
This is a convenient "neighborhood" self-serve car wash. They have a credit card machine on site if you have to pay that way--$5 is the minimum. Minimum amount to start a wash is $2. I usually can get a good clean for my van for under $5.
We ate at Casa Vallarta for the first time in January 2010. Overall, I liked it although I was not brought the combo meal I had requested. I didn't say anything--just went ahead and ate what I got. My meal wasn't quite hot enough, but the taste was pretty good. The meals are big. My husband, who can eat quite a bit, couldn't finish his plate. Our children liked what they got. My older son got the same meal I had. The two little ones ate for $1.95--kid's eat for that price on Saturday and Sunday. They did have the cabbage salsa that we have enjoyed at another Mexican restaurant. Not quite as good as the other restaurant's, but still pretty good. Our server was helpful and friendly. They bring you complimentary sopaipillas at the end which were very tasty. Overall, we liked it and we would most likely go back.
I saw Dr. Papadeas several times after my son was born in 1997 and once again in 2008. He's a good doctor and has a pleasant personality. The procedure I had done in 2008 was quick and painless. I would recommend Dr. Papadeas for any dermatology concern.
I go to this thrift store on occasion when I'm in Lakewood visiting my brother and SIL. We visited in Fall 2009. Lots to choose from and pretty good prices on some things. I've found lots of children books here. Halloween costumes. Christmas decorations. The one thing that really bothers me is that this store will absolutely not let you use the restroom. This wasn't a one time thing either. This has happened to me and my parents on separate occasions. . This can be a problem if you have kids and/or older parents or any age for that matter.
I've shopped at this Arc for years. If you have a baby, you are crazy to buy new clothes and blankets when you can get so many near new items at the thrift stores for so much less. This store has a large selection of just about everything and when I go rarely leave empty handed. Arc also has many sales so you can often get items for 50% off. Seniors get 50% off every Tuesday.
Wonderful place for British-Americans to find all those British foods, candies, and other items they crave from their youth.
In the Fall of 2008, we saw three doctors at Advanced Dermatology for wart treatment for my child. I believe Dr. Vogel was one of those doctors. I have absolutely no problem with the doctors or the office, but after 4 visits and $100 later in co-payments, he still had his warts. My SIL recommended some over the counter sticky patches and it zapped the warts with one treatment. I would definitely go back to this office for other dermatology concerns, and I have, but we now know how to zap warts on our own.
We ate at the Hickory House in May 2009 for the first time. Thought we would try something new. The food was not bad, but not out of this world either. The decor was nice. Our particular server was not very attentive.
