This is my favorite bar on 6th Street. It is a dark cozy bar with a great beer selection and a sweet large outdoor area in the back, especially when the weather is good.
Everything is ok here - not great but ok. The chicken tasted good but it was dry, sauce is a bit runny, just ok.
It's a bit small but it is easy for a large group to take over the room. The dark atmosphere also allows for an intimate bar experience. It's across from the capital as well - a pretty site when you leave.
Not a huge selection of beers - but they are served in a frosted beer glass which goes a long way. Food is good too.
This place is usually pretty dead. If not it's filled with kids since it's 18+. Not my kind of place.
This place is great for happy hour - it has really cheap and delicious white wine sangria that is a must try.
Multi-story bar - upstairs is usually less crowded. There really isn't anything that makes it stand out from the rest of sixth street.
Try the sampler - why? Because you'll see exactly how much awesome beer this place has. Their Hefe is my fav - best I've tasted.
This place is versatile - it's a club, a lounge, a rock show, a restaurant and more. The food looks good too.
This place has excellent cajun food. I love their poboys and crawfish. Plus they are open late most of the week.
