I wasn't too impressed with this place. Although I was one of the only customers in the salon, they hurried me through the process. They didn't take enough time in-between coats of nail polish, and the finished product was bubbly and ugly. Additionally, they were pretty rough with my cuticles, and I bled from most of my fingers. Wouldn't recommend it!
I could not love this place more! Their waxer is phenomenal (and very gentle), and their mani/pedis are always the best! They also do fantastic massages--and have great deals on these! My husband has even tagged along with me a few times. Can't beat that!
Denali's has the best pizza crust! It is chewy and delicious, and never soggy! Their wings are also TO DIE FOR. They also have amazing lasagna/pasta. Try their margherita pizza--you'll never want it from another place! I'm a picky eater, but I really love this place!
I went there to have a medical lab coat tailored, and they had me measured in less than three minutes. They had it done in four days, and it fit wonderfully! It cost me $17, which I felt was a little much, considering that they didn't have to do too much. But perhaps I'm just stingy! I would recommend it to someone lookiing for a fast-fix and quality workmanship.
Ellie's people know what they're doing, and they do it fast! I went there to have a bridesmaid's dress altered, two weeks before the wedding, and they had it done within a week. The quality of their workmanship is excellent, and the dress, which came four sizes too big, fit me like a glove, in the end! I definitely recommend Ellie's!
I should have known better, when we walked in and we were the ONLY customers on a Saturday aftenoon. I ordered a chicken torta, and the bread was SOGGY with the chicken juices, which were not even close to palatable! To top it off, even though we were the only customers, we had to track down our waitress to get our drinks refilled. In general, gross!
This place is a magnet for single thirty-somethings who are only interested in "hooking up" after work. So it's a little disturbing around the best time (happy hour) to get a discounted beer and appetizer. On the plus side, if you're willing to ignore the rabid thirty-somethings looking for "Mr. Right Now," they've got some really good beer.
