Blue Pearl Casual Eatery
My Wife and I walk down to the Blue Pearl all the time, it is at a beautiful location and the staff is very friendly. The Tortilla soup is very, very good and is a family recipe of the Chef....he wouldn't share the recipe with me..Darn it! The salad with the Hailbut is outstanding also.
Lienzo Charro
I love Lienzo Charro, my wife and I love the food and the friebdly staff. The combination plates are huge and the beans and rice are authentic homemade. I always leave Lienzo Charro with a smile on my face and stuffed with great Mexican food.
Filiberto's Mexican Food
I use to live right arcoss the street from Filiberto's and was scared to try to the food after that news article came out. A friend talked me into going there a few months back and I must say that they really cleaned up their act! They have the best carne asada and carnitas burros around...and they are HUGE! give them a try, you won't regret it....
Harvey's Wineburger
I have been going to Harvey's Wineburgers for 40 years and I love this place. Sure, places change and sometimes for the worst but Harvey's continues to be the best burger in town.
They should make this a historic site!
Char's Has The Blues
This place is an institution among muscians and music lovers all over Phoenix. I have seen some incredible groups and listened to excellent blues. It is a close personal place and easy to sit dowm with the group during their break and have drinks and talk with them. Since they don't allow smokers anymore this place is a "MUST VISIT"!
O'Connor's Pub
O'Connors is a pub out of place in the faceless and anonymous strip malls in Phoenix. Walk in and your in another place and time....the best day to go is St Patty's day.
Back in the past it was useless to ask for Guiness in a Phoenix bar...but not at O'Connors! Great people, good fun and great Guiness beer!
Metro Sportz Bar
This is a centrally located sports bar at the Metro Center. I went there with a large group for the NCAA final 4 last year and we had the best time ever.....lots of food and drink and fun.
Thunderbird Dental Group
This was the only dental group in Phoenix that I could get an emergency visit and the only ones who found a crack in my tooth that 2 other dentists could not find. I was in such pain and they treated me right away and took care of the problem.
I will only trust Thunderbird Dental Group from now on!
Old Brass Rail
I used to have to commute fro mthe west side to the east side for work and the only thing that made it fun was meeting everyone at the Old Brass Rail. The food was reasonably priced and so were the drinks. I love the burger and sandwiches and the Sunday brunch is awesome.
43rd Avenue Tavern
My cousin lives just down the street and whenever I am visiting
Phoenix we all meet up at the 43rd Ave tavern for the best cold beer in town and pool. It is my second home when I am in Phoenix!
