Wish this was actually an Irish pub. Really not like one at all. Mostly good for the college scene.
Kind and caring dentist and hygienists. TVs/music distractions available for people not excited to be going to the dentist. Wish I still lived in Seattle to keep using Dr. Marcial because he is great!
Can be a bit loud from music on the weekends, so don't go here if you're looking for a quiet place to chat. But otherwise, great ambiance, great drinks. Staple SE Portland bar.
Great local dive bar. Has pool tables, vid poker, plenty of outside space in the summer. Fabulous for locals. You to be my regular joint when I lived in the neighborhood.
Great store with a wide variety of herbs, essential oils, books, etc. Prices aren't quite as cheap as Whole Foods, but that's to be expected I suppose. Helpful staff, open weekends. Would definitely recommend.
Helped me to manage pain, but I don't think I really moved forward with healing. Probably helpful for people with acute injuries/pain, but not chronic problems.
Dr. Schuetz was the first provider who helped me move out of a state of chronic pain that I'd been struggling with for years. His touch is gentle and he has YEARS of experience treating people without meds. Would absolutely recommend!!
Beautiful birth center in Bellingham for women seeking out of hospital birth experience with midwives. The midwives are caring and knowledgeable, plus give MUCH more time and attention that what I could get from a hospital experience. Would absolutely recommend!
Carrie Kenner is a fountain of knowledge for expectant couples in the Seattle area. She has years of experience that she draws from as she gives practical info for those seeking natural childbirth. Would absolutely recommend!!
Anyone involved with the movement towards biodynamic birth, labor support, and childbirth education knows the name of Penny Simkin. Penny has a wealth of knowledge that she shares in numerous books, seminars, and classes that she offers on a regular basis in the Seattle area and nationwide to help support women in the choices they make during childbirth. Truly a gem!
