As far as I know, it is Portland's only dyke bar. And that is precisely what you will find here! I find it not always the friendliest atmosphere, but that is more the clientele than the bar itself. Karaoke room is pretty fun on the weekend.
For those of us whose clubbing days are over, this place is actually still a fun club to go to! Depending on the night or the music, it might be a tad on the hippie side. In general the crowd is 30-somethings, not pretending-to-be-21.
Great food, great drinks, and sitting on the patio made me feel like I was in a magical and far-off world.
I loved having Lucina at my homebirth, and she gave great postpartum care also. I couldn't imagine having another baby without her there!
All the good things about fast food and none of the bad. Yes to: inexpensive, quick service, kid-friendly No to: nasty non-food ingredients.
Best selection and wackiest staff ever!!! I love the costumes, the craziness, and of course, the movies I won't find elsewhere.
I loved having Pamela and Monica at my homebirth, and they gave great postpartum care also. I couldn't imagine having another baby without them there!
High-quality clothes that are actually comfortable, friendly, helpful staff. Check the sale rack for good deals!
High-quality breads, some of the best in town! Stores feel warm and inviting, and smell incredible.
Actually honest mechanics, easy to deal with, wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Many of my friends also use them, no one has ever had a complaint. Loaner cars used to be free, now I think they are $10. They aren't exactly fancy loaner cars, but they do get me around while my car is being worked on, which is a must for me. Oh, and the shop peacock is cute!
