I was attracted to Dr. Lussier's office by his ads in local publications back in 2007 because I needed some help with my physical features. However, because my experience was below my expectations, I'm writing this in hopes to warn current and future patients of this doctor. As another patient on this forum pointed out, he seems to be more interested in the money than helping his patients. Together with my family we've spent over $40,000 for procedures which happened in rapid succession, and none of us were satisfied. For one thing, among other procedures I had liposuction on outer thighs, and to this day my legs look like a carved turkey, with bumps and indentations, to the point that I??m ashamed to ever wear shorts. I regret having done this because I look much worse than I did before. I also had bilateral blepharoplasty, and my eyes look worse than they did before because he did not take out enough skin and he made the seams uneven, so now my eyes are not symmetrical. This doctor also charged me for injectables which he did not administer while I was out under anesthesia. The way I found out about this is because I went to another doctor for a second opinion and she was able to tell that a much cheaper product was injected into my face, not what I paid for! Later when I questioned him about it, he got very upset and said that he forgot to mention that he did not administer the injection that I paid for, he offered me a partial refund for it, and also said he??ll pay me $1000 just to go away and keep quiet about it. I did not take the bait because I did not know what was going to happen if I stop seeing him right after my surgery ?? I was worried about complications. Later he abandoned me and refused to see me anyway because he did not like the fact that I wasn??t happy with his work and asked him to make some corrections, which he refused to do. My mom had a similar problem with her upper eye lids lifted by the same doctor. He made them uneven and the stitching was so poorly done that it opened up on one eye and she had to have it redone. It wasn??t because she did anything wrong. The skin was folded over in the corner of one eye and it was higher than the other. In fact, for several months after the surgery my Mom could not close her eye lids (they would not come together because too much skin was taken out), and so he gave her some ointment to keep her eyes lubricated. The skin finally stretched enough to where she could close them. After arguing with my Mom, he finally corrected the poor stitching in the corner of one eye at no charge, but that had cost her a lot of pain, nerves and time. Finally, my husband had a neck lift, also with this doctor. After surgery my husband's neck did look slightly smaller but again, the job was done very poorly because he has strange bumps next to his ears, and also he has a "double neck" because of an extra fold introduced by the surgery. Finally, my neighbor also had eye lid surgery with him, and that was not without problems either. Again, if you are dealing with this doctor or are planning to, please beware! My new doctor says that looking at Dr. Lussier's work, she can see that this doctor is not very talented and she agreed with me that his work is very sloppy.
