My favorite restaurant for special occasions. Excellent service and delicious food. I have been here several times and I am never disappointed. In a city with 20,000 restaurants, for me this one stands apart.
I took a class on my last visit to NY. It was during winter, so the class was held in their tent, not outside. What an incredible experience! I had a blast! We had a small class of 6 people, which was great because we were able to have many more turns than if it was full. We had 3 beginners and 3 experienced students. The instructors were great. I would definitely recommend it if you are a thrill-seeker and want to try "flying"!
My favorite NY pizza place hands-down! Be prepared to wait, but it's well worth the wait. I used to take guests here when they visited the city and now that I no longer live in NY, it is my go-to place on every visit.
Chat N' Chew has all of the comfort foods you love. I usually get the sweet potato fries and mac and cheese. Great place to go for an inexpensive good meal. Cool, casual decor. Great service.
I LOVE stationary stores, and this one is my favorite! Love their huge selection of cute cards, stationary, gifts, books, crafty items, wrapping paper. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it.
Huge Soho store with clothes that are inexpensive. Clothes are well made for the price. Sometimes, the check out line can be long, but worth checking out.
One of my favorite brunch places in NY! I feel as if I am in Paris when I go here, which for me is the #1 reason why I love it. Excellent food, great service. Be sure to make a reservation because it's always crowded. I have liked everything on the menu. I especially love their bread and pastries.
Tucked away in the lobby of Le Parker Meridian hotel, this small burger joint has delicious burgers! There was a long line when I went, but it was worth the wait. If burgers are your thing, then a would definitely recommend trying this place. Among the burger restaurants I have tried in NY, this one tops my list.
Small restaurant with great ramen! Ramen is one of my all-time favorite meals and I like this place. I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I no longer live in NY, but make it a point to go each time I visit. It's usually crowded during peak times. Great place to go before a broadway show.
I love Porto Rico Importing Co's coffee! Prices are very reasonable. And they have great sales as well. They even have deep discounts, I think at least once a year. I used to live down the street from them, but have since moved to California. When I visit NY, I buy several pounds of coffee home with me. My husband and I even gave Porto Rico coffee beans as favors at our wedding! Many, many guests commented on how good the coffee was.
